at this point, if you have a serious business (not hobbyists), just stand up an EC2 instance and be done with it. Claude can easily figure out VPCs, S3, R53, ALBs etc. Given so much good docs like AWS well architected, official terraform modules etc.
What's the reason/excuse to use a PaaS in 2026?

I love @Railway. Been a happy customer for 5 years. But today a caching misconfiguration let users see and act as other users. Names, personal data, medical info leaked between customers. This after weeks of almost daily incidents. It's time to switch. Alternatives?

@shivaaa_95 @volkswagenindia @SkodaIndia I agree (because I own one) but VAG India never confirmed whether we get the Evo 1 or Evo 2. The material online suggests only evo2 has the VTG tech.
English

here’s why VAG’s 1.5TSI EVO is the best turbo-petrol engine out there:
• 1.5TSI Evo stands out for using Porsche-derived Variable Turbine Geometry (VTG) - a rarity in petrol engines due to extreme exhaust temps. VTG helps deliver strong low-end torque without sacrificing top-end performance, keeping turbo lag to a minimum.
•it also runs a 350-bar direct-injection system, nearly double the pressure of Hyundai’s 1.5 turbo, resulting in finer fuel atomisation, cleaner combustion, sharper throttle response, & better emissions control. internally, the engine uses plasma-coated cylinder walls instead of traditional liners, reducing friction and improving thermal efficiency.
•it also gets Active Cylinder Technology(ACT). under light loads, cylinder 2 and 3 shut down, the engine switches from the Otto cycle to Miller cycle, between 1500-3500rpm, while still producing upto 90Nm of torque in 2-cylinder mode. enough for steady cruising&gentle acceleration without the driver ever noticing the transition. the car can return upto 25kmpl if driven at constant speeds with ACT.
• and importantly, the engine was designed to be Euro7 compliant from day one. thanks to its high-pressure injection, efficient combustion, and advanced thermal management.
i sometimes regret missing out on this engine ;)

@DaLUC1FER @JayPrashanth Take the hybrid and sell the Baleno. Better for your safety as well. From overseas reviewers, hybrid is also plenty fun to drive
English

@JayPrashanth Which would be more fun to drive? Conflicted to prebook between 1.3 and 1.8 Hybrid . Mainly want for night drives and inter city drives . Already have a Baleno for daily duties. Mileage should be better than atleast XUV 7XO😅

Why's Renault not offering a diesel engine with the new Duster? Here are some answers!
1. 1.3 TCe turbo petrol engine makes more torque than the K9K diesel.
2. Regulations around diesel are getting super tight.
3. For efficiency seekers, there's the class leading strong hybrid.
4. And finally, the Duster Hybrid, according to Renault can do 80 % of city commuting in pure-electric mode!

@PositiveGamma I didn't understand the relationship between Thanksgiving and filings? Do you mean companies would be using it as an opportunity to announce things they want to keep under the radar? As in lesser attention?
English

@PaiRaveen @akhileshb95 Yeah bro I know that one. Was asking about Akhilesh's suggestion.
English

@padiyar_ @akhileshb95 Nope Janatha Delux Near TMA Pai convention
English

@PaiRaveen JD. One of the best but now I’m gravitating back towards Vrindavan for Vade sambar dip, the sambar is tastier there.
