I've enabled personal intelligence for the past few weeks and it's been mind blowingly good. Asked if it was time for new running shoes and pulled purchase history from @gmail, marathon race date from @googlephotos, and @GeminiApp's chat history. Try it out!

This is massive. Gemini Live can now take actions across apps. You can ask it to open apps like YouTube Music and play songs just by talking to it. It can also open other apps, but the actions it can perform are still limited and depend on the app. So far, I’ve tested: - YouTube Music - YouTube - Google Keep Notes, where it can create and save notes - Setting alarms - Camera controls, including taking pictures

@ai_for_success It’s really inconsistent: in one chat thread, it says, “I’m sorry, but I can’t access or analyze your personal information,” and then, in the very next thread, it does that. Let’s see. I could be wrong in 2 hours, 🤞🏼 Gemini Live Agent.

We spent so much time obsessing over getting this one right. From a user POV, it makes switching cost between voice & typing close to zero -- no more modality gap, context loss, or even "app within an app" feeling. Live is just an easier way to use Gemini!

I've spent a week w/Gemini live API and had a pretty fun moment today You know when you say something to a human, and the way they answer you, you just know they are rolling their eyes at you in the tone of their response? Well, Gemini live just did that. I deserved it too lol
