From running a booth at @Official_GDC, to giving a World Model talk on the International Stage, to many afterparties (and of course, right after, hosting the #WorldsinAction hack).. This was a crazy week! Amazing to reconnect with old friends (@jasteinerman @Dilmerv @brown_lantern @DaleNewcombJr @emretanirgan), partners (David Gene Oh, Ke Jing, and so many super talented hackers shaping what’s coming next. We brought the excitement of world models to the GDC floor, and this is just getting started 💥

We won $1,500 as a cash prize, $500 credits in @theworldlabs API & even got a sweet trophy. Some investors were interested in taking this further as its a true need!

What if a kid could step inside their own drawing? This past weekend we built Yume, an app that transforms children's drawings into explorable 3D worlds powered by @theworldlabs, and it just won first place at the World Model Hackathon at @fdotinc. Very grateful as it was my first hackathon win ever. Special thanks to @XR_Bootcamp, @SensAIHackademy, @PICOXR, @MeshyAI

3 days by the ocean. 200 hackers. Countless worlds created. This weekend, we hosted the first edition of #WorldsinAction Hack in SF @fdotinc Hackers came together to experiment, ship fast, and explore what World Models make possible. Huge thanks to all mentors and judges who spent their weekend helping teams push ideas further. 🙏 And to our partners @PICOXR, #ByteDance, and @theworldlabs for sponsoring tracks and bringing their latest platforms directly to hackers. How it started: - never used @theworldlabs - didn’t know what a mesh was/heard of splats - never built any VR/XR experience not to mention a game - scared of hackathons in general How it’s going after 2 days: - pushed myself to attend a world model x XR hack - built a Barbie game on VR/WebXR based on my fav Barbie movie(maxed out all my AI subscriptions) - had so much fun making the trailer remixing clips from the movie - won best gaming/UGC among 200 people ( this is insane) u can checkout the trailer i made in the video heh I hope it bring you nostalgia for early 2000 Barbie movies This is going into my diary 100% and im excited to keep building the things that I can only dream of before!

Spent the weekend hacking at the Worlds in Action hackathon at @fdotinc by @SensAIHackademy. It was so much fun playing with the world models by @theworldlabs . I believe generative games are the future where characters, rules and even parts of the world can be generated and adapted in real time. The game is no longer fixed. It becomes responsive and increasingly alive. Thanks @jasteinerman for the invite.

The Age of AI is moving at terminal velocity. Between ChatGPT, Claude Code, and OpenClaw, the meta shifts every 48 hours. But after Day 1 at the SensAI "World Sense" hackathon, I’m convinced World Models are the next big leap. Unlike traditional LLMs, World Models are built to understand the dimensions of semantics, space, and physics. They don't just predict the next word, they simulate real-world environments and predict the physical consequences of actions. AI is learning to "dream" before it acts. Huge shoutout to @xr_bootcamp, and the SensAI team for hosting this at Frontier Tower. The signal density in this room is insane. Funny enough, I wasn't even registered for the event. I just showed up 30 minutes early, told them I wanted to be in the room, and made it happen. If you want to grow, don't wait for an invite. Show initiative, put yourself in the room, and the momentum will follow. Are we still over-indexing on text-based LLMs, or is it time to pivot to World Models and Spatial AI?
