Govt needs to incentivise, sensitise, politicise, glamorise Public Transport, cycling and walking if they really want to fix the every day worsening traffic and pollution in India. If they sell 4000 cr more in on Monday they will make another record. Oct 2024 saw largest FII selling in history of Indian stock market. @narendramodi @nsitharaman time to woo FIIs. Make attracting capital - financial and human both pride in India. We need to reverse current thinking of dispelling away human and financial capital.

FII continue to sell albeit smaller amounts from earlier. Intensity of selling is considerably lower. March 2026: 1.07 lakh cr selling by FII 1.24 lakh cr buying by DII DII have put up great fight making it largest buying months by far. In 3 more trading days, will FII make it largest selling month? If they sell 8000 cr more in 3 days they will make another record.

Traffic has turned our metro cities into giant parking lots with people trapped inside them. In Bengaluru, Pune, Mumbai, Kolkata, Delhi and Chennai, on average a commuter spends 100 to 168 hours a year stuck in traffic . Not commuting. Just sitting. Every hour lost is an hour India cannot get back. Productivity lost, fuel wasted, air polluted, quality of life damaged. I stood up in Parliament and demanded a National Urban Decongestion Mission for our big metro cities with better public transport, smarter traffic management and a scientific parking policy. We are not stuck in traffic. We are stuck because of it. And if India wants its economy in the fast lane, our cities need to start moving.

India should allow people to buy a vehicle only if they can park it inside their house. The pavements, roads around their houses is not theirs, it’s everybody’s In addition, govt has to work on war footing on below things so that people don’t actually feel need to buy vehicle Why India is not a preferred tourist destination: 1. Stray animals (cows, dogs) 2. Extremely unsafe to drive and to walk. There are potholes, speed breakers, open manholes, open electric wires 3. No pavements to walk 4. Pollution 5. Dirty & unhygienic cabs 6. Roads filled with dust, shit, garbage, spit 7. Traffic chaos & Vehicles parked everywhere. Roads, parks, plots …everywhere vehicles are parked illegally 8. Public parks and public places have become garbage and parking dumps 9. Missing civic sense and next to zero ethics visible everywhere on road 10. Fear of tackling with corruption

At our Ooty charging stations on sunday, Observations, Drivers often charge to 100% at hilltops before descending. Friendly reminder: regen will add 10-15% on the way down, so 80% is usually enough. Helps reduce wait times for fellow drivers. Charge smart / courteous.
