Raycast is my favorite example when people ask me about designing keyboard shortcuts.
Most of us try to make shortcuts memorable. T is for theme, so I'm going to make option+t toggle theme.
That's fine. But you need to consider user's hand placement. Are they using your app one-handed, or are both hands already on the keyboard (like right after launching Raycast)? Which common actions a user might be need both a pointer and a keyboard to do?
Raycast gets this. Really well.
The shortcut should meet the hand where it already is.

Never put work over school. 2 months ago a local gym asked me to make an iOS for them, apparently it was a new gym and they didn’t have a way to track who paid and didn’t pay since the relied on paper. They wanted it asap and it was during my exam period. I had to grind 16 hours for 3 days to hit all the deadlines and in the end they tried to haggle about money so I ended up ghosting them and this whole situation made me soo angry.

One of the most exciting things I’ve had the chance to work on has been integrating `react-native-teleport` into `screen-transitions`.
v3.9 introduces a new handoff prop to seamlessly teleport boundary payloads between each other.

Gotta say I didn’t like how it look at the very start tbh but I’m starting to come around a lot you guys have done some amazing work here. I remember downloading this when Anthropic was still banning people randomly and I only sent it one message then got scared and deleted. Might be time for a second shot

The new T3 Code sidebar is available on the latest nightly build. It's a toggle in settings. It's a VERY different workflow.
Think of it more like an inbox. When you're done with a thread, click the "settle" button and it slides to the bottom.
This has helped me "finish" more work than I ever have before. I'm loving this workflow. Let me know what you think if you try it!

Making a free native app to edit @shadcn and @hero_ui themes. Obsessing over colors is boring and being able to do it whenever with cute animations to help you stay focused helps. Planning to add tinder style swipe cards to browse across templates and auto theme generation based on a core color.

The native controls make this feel so nice compared to the pained alternatives and I’m stuffing this with qol features
