@MajDPSingh @raghav_chadha We are treated like beggars and we have to return the medals before that.Govt taxing disability pension of soldiers ruthless and dividing into two groups whereas disability due to sincere discharge of duty no one wants ill health and and harm to our body.rollback
As per Para 11.5.7 page 297 of Select Committee Report on IT Bill 2025 @FinMinIndia apprised the Committee that exemption of Income Tax on Disability Pension will continue as the Honorable SC has ordered to “Maintain Status Quo”. Now in Para 108 D(6) of Finance Bill 2026 this exemption has been taken away from those Disabled Soldiers who Superannuated. Was the Committee misled?
