There are parties in Parliament with more MPs than Reform. The Liberal Democrats. The SNP. Sinn Féin. All three have a bigger parliamentary presence than Reform. So here’s the question. Why is Laura Kuenssberg interviewing Nigel Farage third in her leaders series, ahead of Ed Davey, John Swinney, or Mary Lou McDonald? The Liberal Democrats alone have 72 MPs. That’s more than fourteen times Reform’s current tally. This isn’t about balance. It’s about amplification. Media exposure should reflect democratic reality, not reward whoever shouts the loudest or generates the most noise. When coverage ignores parliamentary weight, it distorts public understanding of who actually holds power. That isn’t scrutiny. It’s spectacle.

Over 50 MPs & MSPs have signed a letter to David Lammy, Secretary of State for Justice, urging him to engage with the legal representatives of the pro Palestinian activists on hunger strike. Given the seriousness of their condition the letter says it would be an act of humanity.

There's currently an attempt by BBC BritNat to find a narrative to undermine/smear John Swinney. The reason is there's nothing significant to attack him with. Neil Gray has the NHS going the right way and the probe into Constance was a dud. The Sandie Peggie tribunal didn't result in the ruling they craved. With three months to go until the Holyrood campaign kicks off they need something. Even a Murrell trial mightn't be enough due to restrictions in what they can say - it mightn't even be held before the election.
