@RaymondBerengar @fandompulse You save one species you perhaps doom another. Plagues arise from overpopulated societies living poorly, making poor choices, eating things they shouldn't no hygiene etc. We have saved humanity and say 8 billion plus is ok and now we are making the rest go extinct.

@fandompulse Generally I think the Prime Directive is fine; but it can lead to some absurd scenarios where you talk yourself out of curing a plague on a planet, that can be eradicated without revealing your presence, because it would alter the "natural" course of history.

Ireland has the lowest level of energy security in the EU. We import 80% of our energy, mostly in the form of oil and gas. We need to address this issue while reaching net zero by 2050. Not even considering Nuclear Power, the EUs largest clear energy source, does not make sense.
