Using and refilling the travel coffee mug on the go. We discovered the Jim bean infused coffee beans for home brewing.

I see all this fasting stuff. Cool idea, can you fast from not spending a dime daily? Let me know how long you and your family can go without spending a dollar. Rules: eating cooked meals doesn’t count, eating out does. Drinking coffee at home doesn’t count, drinking coffee out does, etc. My family has gone 21 days. Be content with what you have. How many days do you think you can do?

I feel your pain. I’ve been through my share of blown funded accounts this past year. It sucks.
I considered walking away, but changed my mind. This year has been a focus on staying at peace on the charts. Measuring whether I follow my process each day regardless of the outcome (win/lose).
This also meant sizing down my trades, for me. I’m more at peace letting the trades play out.

I’ve been really trying to figure out if I should just stop trading and put my time and effort in learning to code.
I currently work in tech and work a hybrid schedule (3 days remote). Sometimes I wonder how much I would’ve learned had I put my time and energy to learn to code instead.
I enjoy my job and never planned to make trading a full time gig, however I have always had an entrepreneurial mindset. My ultimate goal is to own a business one day. And I know I will, it’s just a matter of time.
The harsh reality of trading is that only a very very small percentage of traders are consistently profitable, and although I’ve had some decent payouts last year, I’m really not sure that it is worth my time, expenses, and most importantly my mental capital anymore. Many will deny it but trading can honestly become addicting if you allow it, consuming so much of one’s mental space every day of the week, including weekends.
Some may saying “quitting” is the “easy way out”, but I truly find the harder decision is accepting when it’s time to actually “quit” and move on. (No one in their right mind will just quit when they’ve spent countless of hours and even years of work.)
For those who’ve walked away from trading, how did you know when it was time to “hang it up”? Did you notice a big shift in your life afterwards or finally achieve something you’d always wanted to do?
Sorry to rant, but I honestly feel that there are so many traders who face the same struggle, and it’s important to acknowledge the reality of this industry.

Absolute SOLID first day back in the markets
Still taking it slow not 100% back until Monday next week. Decided to start warming up with Asia / overnight trades.
1930-2030 Asia range is such a powerful range and once price becomes overextended above it > you have a high probability direction that bleeds into NY.
I implore you to verify me. Draw out the 1930-2030 range and just simply count how many times in the last year once it broke from one side it retraces to the other.
You will roughly get 85% probability.

Here is how I view price in the most simple way possible not having to care about ANYTHING outside of the M1 timeframe, fundamentals, or trend. This is what goes through my mind every. single. day. When you see this happen over and over AND ANYONE can verify what I say for themselves with a couple hours and a google sheet....you get goosebumps being able to articulate a multi-trillion dollar/day instrument that most make things overly complex. My best week to date, went over on the consistency rule so got to make a little more, so be it. Should get this combine over the line Monday.

Result: ended the day green.

What a way to end the week and trust the statistics! Everything was below and I truly don't care what candles look like, NFP / or not, I either take a specific set loss or average in for a homerun trade :)
Also notice we had an 85% chance (blue line) of retracing 39% of the RTH today
ALL DATA was below which = more risk.
Such an amazing amazing amazing session / week :)

@Austin_Clark_YT When I first started trading, I was nervous every time I got into drawdown. After learning more about statistics and data in my strategy, I'm more focused on the process and don't worry about going into draw down anymore.

Today was such a good lesson that you don't need anything other than data on your side.
As soon as we hit the average movement for AM we exhausted and started to reverse. Nothing else was needed.
Remember - YOUR EMOTIONS DO NOT MATTER. You have ZERO data on your emotions.
