The assessment is based on credible inputs from intelligence agents and a detailed analysis of the account’s activities. In response, the X account has already been blocked in India, and Instagram action is expected within the next 1–2 days. I strongly urge @HMOIndia not to show any leniency towards these anti-national elements. Every individual involved must be booked under UAPA, their passports cancelled, and they should be brought back to face justice in India.

TMC leaders arrested by Mumbai Police. Three TMC leaders, Shamim Ahmad, Jameel Akhtar, and Aftab Anwar, have been arrested by Mumbai Police. They are accused in a bomb blast case in Shibpur, Howrah, after the election results. They had escaped to Mumbai after the incident. Shamim Ahmad is the husband of TMC councillor Shamima Bano.
