What Daisy has said deserves a proper investigation. The very next day, she came to my house in tears. When I opposed Annamalai on this issue and spoke out, Annamalai, with the help of social media, harassed many BJP leaders and me. I faced harassment for nearly five years. Even as a woman, I became numb to the constant abuse from those war-room members.
They spread wild imaginary story of me with Dubai, Varichur Selvam and L. Murugan and even circulated morphed nude photos of me. That shows how disgusting and abusive their tactics were. Despite these serious allegations, the DMK government hesitated to take action due to Annamalai’s friendship with some top DMK leaders and Sunil Kanagalu. What Daisy mentioned is true.
Now that the TVK has come to power, will it investigate the allegations that Akhila (Annamalai’s wife) and Krishna Kumar were involved in running a war room? Will it also investigate allegations concerning Annamalai and claims that Madhan Ravichandran was encouraged to release videos? These are serious allegations and should be examined through a fair and impartial investigation based on evidence whether the incidents are 3 years old or 5 years old. We are still being harassed to this day, but no action has been taken.
Will every woman receive the same treatment that Minister Keerthana got? We have been in politics for at least 12 years. Nothing has come easy for us. Victory was not easy for us. We struggle day in and day out, trying to serve the people. My CM knows this, and our Vijay knows this.
Will the TVK government take action against Annamalai? It is long overdue.
