Marriage is not for every woman. If you think that you are too big to respect a man then better stay single. Marriage is only for well behaved genuine feminine women. Period. Real women respect Men.

🙏 It’s time we started taking men’s mental and emotional health seriously, and acknowledged that men, too, can be deeply affected and wronged in marital relationships. Too many men suffer in silence because of societal expectations, stigma, and the fear of being judged. They are often told to “stay strong,” suppress their emotions, and endure pain quietly. That silence comes at a cost. What Ravi Mohan has done today feels like a watershed moment. By speaking openly about his struggles, he has reminded people that men are human too; vulnerable, emotional, and deserving of empathy. There should be no shame in expressing pain, seeking support, or speaking out against emotional distress and personal trauma. Supporting men who are hurting does not diminish women’s issues. Empathy is not a competition. Every individual who faces injustice deserves to be heard fairly, without prejudice or ideological bias. I sincerely hope Ravi Mohan finds the peace of mind, dignity, and freedom he deserves... and the space to heal, rebuild, and continue doing what he truly loves. @iam_RaviMohan #RaviMohan

Her name was Vijayalakshmi Ramanan. She was born on February 27, 1924, in Madras. Her father was a World War I veteran and public health official. At 15 years old, she was already an A-Grade artist with All India Radio, performing Carnatic music live on national broadcasts. She enrolled at Madras Medical College and graduated as its best outgoing student in 1948. She went on to specialise in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. In 1955, her husband, a Wing Commander in the Indian Air Force, brought home an application form and encouraged her to apply. She did. She was commissioned into the Indian Army Medical Corps and immediately seconded to the Indian Air Force. There was no uniform for women in the IAF. None had ever served before. She designed one herself: a blue sari in Air Force colours paired with a tan blouse. That uniform later became the standard issue for every woman officer in the Indian Air Force. She was the first woman ever commissioned as an officer in the Indian Air Force. She served through three wars: 1962 against China, 1965 against Pakistan, and 1971 against Pakistan again. She treated injured soldiers and ran military hospitals through all three conflicts. Her husband died in 1971. She raised her two children alone while continuing her military duties without interruption. She retired as Wing Commander in 1979. She then set up a private clinic in Bengaluru and treated patients free of charge well into her eighties. In 1977, she was awarded the Vishisht Seva Medal for distinguished service of a high order. She died on October 18, 2020. She was 96 years old. Every woman officer in the Indian Air Force who came after her wore a version of the uniform she designed for herself. Follow for stories India deserves to remember.

India isn’t just building infrastructure for humans 🇮🇳🌿 In Assam’s Hollongapar Gibbon Sanctuary, specially designed canopy bridges over railway tracks are now being used by Hoolock Gibbons - India’s only ape species. This is reportedly the first documented case anywhere in the world of a Gibbon using a man-made canopy bridge above a railway line. A powerful example of science-led conservation where development and biodiversity move together, not against each other. Kudos to Assam Forest Department & WII for proving that even small ecological innovations can protect endangered wildlife and reconnect fragmented habitats.

The best news for the day !! The historic Anaimangalam copper plates — popularly known as the Leiden copper plates, as they are preserved in Leiden University in the Netherlands — are being handed over to our Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi ji today. These copper plates are among the most important sources for understanding the later Chola period. They consist of two sets: the larger Leiden plates, comprising 21 copper plates, and the smaller set of 3 plates. They were deciphered in the 19th century, including by Pandit Natesa Sastri. The plates carry the royal Chola seal, with the seated tiger, lamps and other emblems. Most importantly, they record the grant of Anaimangalam village by Rajaraja Chola I for the Buddhist vihara at Nagapattinam. The inscription tells us that Sri Mara Vijayottungavarman, the ruler of Srivijaya, approached Rajaraja Chola for permission to build a Buddhist vihara. Rajaraja granted land in Anaimangalam village, roughly around 450 acres, along with tax exemptions for the vihara. While Rajaraja Chola gave the original order, it was his son Rajendra Chola I who ensured that the royal command was formally engraved on copper plates. These plates are not merely inscriptions. They are living evidence of Chola administration, land grants, maritime connections, Tamil–Southeast Asian relations, and the civilisational confidence of the Chola age. This is a historic moment for Tamil heritage and for Bharat’s cultural memory. Personally, it is also a deeply satisfying moment for me.

India has almost 100% Electrification for Railways and it also has the lowest fare per km in the top 10 economies. We Indians take a lot of things for granted and are a thankless people. All the other countries listed revise rail fares unlike us. Yet we complain the most.

In our society we are making a Temple. There are 8 muslim families here. We had to overcome endless complaints from Hindus. None of the muslims. While 80% of the society donated, an entire Keralite group of Hindus did not. Kerala Hindus are on edge. Kerala is new Kashmir.

When I see today's India, I sometimes wonder if this is the country I grew up in In Jan 2009, India was stunned by the giant corporate fraud of over $1 billion at Satyam Not a single question was asked to Dr. Singh How will govt know if a big corporate is doing a scam? Today PM Modi has to personally answer for every pothole on every road in India
