It’s wild how Covid has killed a million people in this country, and our government and the rich used it to facilitate the greatest upward transfer of wealth in history, and instead of being furious about that people are angry at masks.

I think yaml hate is undeserved and am thinking of writing an "in defense of yaml" post. Please tweet me the concrete and specific reasons you dislike yaml so I can consider them in the post.

@rob_rix I've yet to encounter someone making that claim, but I have heard this nice example conversation to ask them if it makes sense as valid usage: Person 1: Someone called while you were out Person 2: Did they leave a message?

I have trouble believing that (English-as-first-language-speaking) people who claim never to have encountered the singular “they” aren’t being disingenuous. It’s been known for hundreds of years and active at least as long as I’ve been speaking.
