This same Syeda Hamid was honoured with the Padma Shri award. (During the Congress era, awards like the Padma Shri and Padma Bhushan were distributed in kilos, with special preference given to Muslims. Later, when Manmohan Singh became Prime Minister – and Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi became “Super Prime Ministers” – this same devout Muslim, Syeda Hameed, was promoted to the equivalent of a Cabinet Minister and appointed as a member of the Planning Commission. Now the same Syeda Hamid claims that this earth was created by Allah; therefore, Bangladeshi Muslims also have the right to live in India and you cannot throw them out of the country.... Along with this woman, 12 others had also given their documents to Danish, believing they would all be settled in Malaysia. 3. I had repeatedly urged the Congress government to give land to the Metro in Hebbal to build a multimodal hub, which will help in streamlining the traffic. The honorable High Court of Karnataka has today quashed the controversial transfer of 55 acres of prime land in Hebbal to a non-existent private entity and ordered a CBI investigation. This is a classic case of the fence eating the crop. At the outset, it was highly illogical to allot land to a Pvt entity when there was a need for land for the expansion of Metro facilitating ease of transportation and reduce traffic chaos to a major extent The honorable High Court's order is a huge win for the people.
