I built a user-submitted directory of all the niche groups, clubs, and communities happening in Vancouver. It's all free and open-source. vancouvercommunity.org Find a philosophy club, dinner club, chess party, hiking group, or whatever you are looking for in the city.

This is a first, app dev straight up copying our name for some free app store juice. Ridiculous.

the idea here is: what is truly the future of web dev? i'm not trying to take the human out of the loop entirely, but stuff like user suggestions should be paramount (hence why i'm building @jetsonhelp) - so what little experiments can i build on a site like this

one of the coolest things about vancouvercommunity.org is how user edits and submissions work. I have Claude Code actions that auto edit, de-duplicate, and add new submissions when users ask for changes via various feedback forms. The site is *almost* completely self updating.

i just wake up to a bunch of PRs from user requests, and merge them accordingly.

@shawnbuilds Ahaha. I basically have this built for myself. Auto adds to your calendar. Can show you. Issue is data reliability unfortunately. If the data is 100% correct it’s great but if it’s off, it sucks

@JordanFinners @ShopifyDevs yep, I do that! But merchants want the Sidekick image generation, etc. It's just a janky experience compared to the native one.

. @ShopifyDevs more than anything I want this media picker exposed in App Bridge - it would make my user's lives so much better.

you cant really vibe marketing, at least for now its mostly slop but given the views (12m) it got, its a very successful launch v curious if anyone tried it and found it useful tho

It's working with web search, too - so you can ask Claude to search for specific recipes and it will format it accordingly in their recipe format. Very interesting.

Claude Desktop is starting to enter deeper into the content space, showing recipes in nicely formatted cards. It's quite nice, actually - the cook mode is a nice touch. #h_ee6f0c31e4" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">support.claude.com/en/articles/13…

@nick_wesselman Yes, it's confused me (and Claude Code) a few times on what is going on.

`shopify app dev` users -- Should we start updating the application_url in your app toml again when using dynamic tunnel URLs? We stopped because we thought it was unnecessary noise in your `git status`, but I'm seeing that there may be cases where it's useful.

We've began testing Meta ads to drive installs on our Shopify app. Worked with a bunch of different creators creating content like this. Will share updates on the results and more of the different types of content we're using.
