Watch the documentary. I'll never get that time back. Apprecite the attempt at kindness towards Fran and Meredith but the methodology and investigative prowess being shown is as bad at @JohnCarreyrou at the NYT,
Frankly with the upcoming Calvin Ayre funded movie, Killing Satoshi starring Casey Affleck (and the unproven lies about Gary Oldman playing @adam3us circulating) the whole thing is ridiculous.
A much better documentary is Kung Fu Elliot (mirrors Faketoshi and Calvin's delusions)/. It also has more clues about Satoshi subjects then anyone cares to investigate. Casey Affleck should be ashamed being associated with the Faketoshi lies.

@notgrubles The thing is that at least coins like Megacoin, Digitalcoin or Freicoin... tried to be something - they had ideas, experiments, or technical angles. Most of today’s meme coins don’t even pretend to have that.

Current altcoiners don't realize their favorite altcoins are going to be as irrelevant as Megacoin, Quark, Digitalcoin are today. It's just a matter of time. Altcoin transcience.

@nic_carter @arjunblj @fed_fab The demurrage model isn’t easy to communicate, but it introduces incentives that Bitcoin simply doesn’t have.
At the moment, those differences could actually become advantages rather than drawbacks.

Still works, but nobody really cares about it. It will actually work even if nobody is mining it because it has auxpow. multiple times people stopped mining different algos on it, and the blocks kept going then they swapped out some of the algos for different ones to keep it going, they even had algos for phones to mine.
Pretty neat thing, but again nobody cares or understands the technologies of that or of bitcoin, they dont understand or care about the limitations of bitcoin or of the consequences of not properly maintaining it or of the consequences of using bitcoin in ways that are not appropriate for the architecture of it.

Bitcoin’s core innovation is neutrality.
When you start filtering out “unacceptable” transactions, you introduce governance risk into a previously neutral system.
This increases the odds of capture.
Objective technical limits are good.
Arbitrary/subjective filtering is bad.
