@_Sanjeeb @____lighthouse Add support for an access token embedded in URL query param or use webpagetest.org if you just want Lighthouse results from a service.
And see github.com/GoogleChrome/l… for LH vs. PSI
English

Hey @____lighthouse,
any tips for bypassing basic auth in PageSpeed Insights? And why do my core vital metrics differ between Lighthouse and PageSpeed Insights?
Which is more accurate?

@pacman326 Congrats! Nice time indeed for so many obstacles. Always happy with a sub-2 half 😁
English

@BenLesh @kentcdodds These two facts seem compatible with each other in my quick read if CNN+NYT are reporting correctly?
Hate posts seem up while the total number of views might be down.
Not quite sure if that's really true and, if it is, whether that's good or bad 🤔
English

@kentcdodds Other sources differ I guess.

Great if true.
Social media algorithms famously promote outrage for engagement. If Twitter moves this goalpost it could vastly improve the platform. 🤞
Elon Musk@elonmusk
Hate speech impressions (# of times tweet was viewed) continue to decline, despite significant user growth! @TwitterSafety will publish data weekly. Freedom of speech doesn’t mean freedom of reach. Negativity should & will get less reach than positivity.
English

@ElliottZ @cramforce @AndyDavies Way deeper than that, active strategy / priority in some cases.
Many webperf tradeoffs require the 3P to deprioritize themselves slightly (e.g. yielding back to main thread) and would cause regressions in specifically prioritized KPIs, so they'll never happen.
English

@cramforce @AndyDavies Everyone seems to blame perf for Google's woes (also perf is gone), but I don't think that's why Google is a bad web citizen. It's definitely strategy or lack of it.
English

@kumquatexpress @matthieurouif @ponzu_ai +1, lol at SMBs typing "4k ultra HD, photorealism, vivid colors, trending in artstation" for every prompt 🤣
English

@matthieurouif Not sure users would like to type in prompts 🤔 at @ponzu_ai we’re building beautiful product mock-ups from a single button click!

English

@rickfish412 Congrats man I love it!! So wish I could've been there 🥳
English

I got married over the weekend! 💛
And it came as no surprise to anyone that the #Steelers were appropriately represented in the celebrations.

English

@cgdougm @Rich_Harris @ChromeDevTools @____lighthouse This is actually very achievable using the underlying simulated throttling engine that Lighthouse uses.
e.g.
github.com/patrickhulce/l…
English

@Rich_Harris This sent me rabbit-hole-ing for @ChromeDevTools and @____lighthouse to provide a robust testing suite for — not throttling — but latency-variation. pptr.dev might be the current answer.
English

@matthewsloan @VanLathan I think we found ourselves the next draft weekend event!
English

@nhoizey @____lighthouse I think this is WAI.
100% does not require knowledge of the image's dimensions in order to appropriately size.
It may not be the ideal design choice, but it's fine from a CLS perspective, no?
English

@burgessdryan Ah, yes, toddlerese. I'm trying to become fluent myself.
Where's the Duolingo course when you need it amirite? 😅
English

@kumquatexpress Would love to but 1 too many (baby #2 imminent!) 😁
English

@patrickhulce So…wanna hack on this, or do you have too many jobs?
English

How do you vectorize a 4 channel PNG generated by @StableDiffusion?
Our goal was to use SD -> SVG to automate logo creation.
It turns out that going from 1 -> 2 is simple with @opencvlibrary , but recoloring it causes the final SVG to have tons of extra paths.

English

@kumquatexpress Quantizing in a way that logos are is incredibly difficult algorithmically and probably worthy of its own model.
e.g. we humans like simple geometric shapes to indicate shading and highlights even when the source image is always a smooth gradient that will be dithered on conv.
English

I’ve been trying out different clustering algos and palettes to get some better results, but nothing conclusive. Anyone have better suggestions?

@kumquatexpress @wobsobby @ProductHunt @unity This is awesome!! Love the pivot and can't wait to see what yall do ❤️
English

The last 2 weeks @wobsobby and I have been playing with AI art, and our first product is live on @ProductHunt! Ponzu turns prompts into 3D textures in seconds, letting devs like us make games without struggling with assets in @unity.
Check it out at producthunt.com/posts/ponzu
English

@_developit @jaffathecake I hear they have models that come attached to a chassis with a motor and everything. Can store outside and move it to the track when needed too.
10/10 recommend :D
English

@matthewsloan 83GiB of RAM?? Lol
Lookin' to inspect the ASCII interpretation of a ProRes vid? 🤣
