A majority of Scots voted 'Yes' to independence in 2014. The local election franchise meant that the vote was swung in favour of No by those who had no stake in Scotland: temporary residents, non-Scots, second-home owners, military personnel, etc. This is not widely known, internationally. #indyref2014 did not meet internationally recognised standards for a constitutional referendum ⬇️

The reason given by Trump for the removal of whisky tariffs - namely the trade in bourbon casks - is exactly the argument used by John Swinney when he visited Trump last September. Angus Robertson made this clear in an interview with a churlish Laura Maxwell at the time. Maxwell was so annoyed she actually tried to attack minimum unit pricing. Maxwell's show, like Trump's tariffs, was eventually canned. Swinney's visit was a hugely significant factor in Trump's decision. Make no mistake about that. The BritNat media will either ignore its significance or play it down.

As I was saying earlier, Labour have overreached. Thank you @D_G_Alexander and colleagues, once more, for bringing to attention that First Minister @JohnSwinney is delivering for Scotland.

It would also be really unfortunate if @D_G_Alexander was on record trying to dissuade the First Minister of Scotland from promoting Scottish interests, wouldn’t it?

24/25 - £729 25/26 - £766 26/27 - £789 In 2 years, ST prices increased by £60 yet the product has remained the same or worsened. Apart from the “inflation” excuse, what justification is there for fans paying £41 a home game? Celtic IS part of our lives, stop taking the piss.
