The entire company valuation is built on a Bitcoin premium. The moment he stops buying or starts selling, the market reads it as capitulation. MSTR stock craters. Bondholders panic. The convertible notes become a crisis. He is not a believer. He is a man on a treadmill that he cannot step off. Now here is what happens if Bitcoin drops below $40,000. His average acquisition cost sits around $66,000 per coin. At $40K he is sitting on roughly $18 billion in unrealised losses across his entire stack. The convertible notes start triggering margin and refinancing pressure. Lenders who accepted Bitcoin as implicit collateral begin reassessing exposure. MSTR stock which trades at a premium to its Bitcoin holdings collapses because the premium evaporates when the thesis breaks.
