Here are the 10 biggest fixes in the College Football 25 patch: - pursuit angles have been tuned and broken tackles from trailing defenders got reduced - wildcat is no longer as OP and the 360 and side step abilities are tuned - reduced the number of unrecruited 4 and 5 stars early in the season - fixed the bug where you couldn’t schedule visits for some recruits - various tuning fixes to increase the gap between good and bad teams/players, they’ve also adjusted the polls to better reflect realistic rankings - added an additional scenario and NIL content to RTG - fixed the glitch where users were getting skill points maxed out after completing a practice in RTG - new uniform pieces for Baylor, Oregon, Iowa State, Ole Miss, Vanderbilt, Bowling Green, Northwestern, UTEP, Boise State, New Mexico State, App State, Texas State, Louisiana, New Mexico, and South Alabama - updates have been made to the following stadiums: Holiday Bowl, Texas State, Kansas, Kennesaw State, Oklahoma State, Wake Forest, UL-Monroe, and Nebraska - in Road to the CFB, tier rebalancing and reconstruction changing the format from 3 tiers to 5 tiers

Cool recruiting feature for college football 25 dynasty Narrowly lost out on a 5 star WR to Tennessee who wasn’t having such a great season. Left him on my board and since his dealbreaker was championship contender, HE FLIPPED HIS COMMITMENT several weeks later and I ended up landing him

How the Transfer Portal works in College Football 25 Dynasty: The transfer portal will officially open at the start of offseason recruiting and there's a separate tab from high school prospects One of EA's goals was to make it "authentically unpredictable," so some schools may face a mass exodus of players, while others could be left untouched Offseason recruiting lasts four weeks in total and transfers will make their final decisions at the end of it on National Signing Day. You can also go after uncommitted high schoolers during this time Every transfer is given a star rating based on their OVR and has a national, state, and position ranking just like high school prospects Since people change over time, transfers are assigned a new Ideal Pitch and motivation, but every player in the transfer portal has the same dealbreaker that caused them to transfer originally Their new Ideal Pitch will include their dealbreaker motivation and it will be relevant to transfers and their unique needs The, transfers will evaluate every school and generate a top schools list just like high school prospects do. They will look at how their motivations align with each school and adjust for pipelines and proximity to home Since 4 and 5-star prospects are in the highest demand, and they know more concretely what they are looking for, they will only consider five schools. If you are not in their top five, you will not be able to talk with them Regardless of where they start, the process of recruiting a transfer is fast and you will need to make quick decisions. Your interactions with a transfer will be very similar to interacting with a high school recruit Depending on their stage, you will add recruiting actions, pitch your school, and bring them to your campus on a visit to try and close the deal Don’t be surprised if you see teams finish Early Signing Day with a light recruiting class in preparation for a big recruiting push in the transfer portal There's so much, so I'm sure I missed something, but let me know what your favorite part about this is!

I didn't expect College Football 25 to replicate how redshirts work in Dynasty perfectly, but they did In the real world, you can play in up to 4 games in a season and still be eligible to take a redshirt, so they added it to the game. Here's how it'll work: Each pre-season you will have the option of selecting which players you want to redshirt, and during the course of the season, you can monitor how many games each player has played. From that, you can decide if you want to keep playing that player, or have him sit the remainder of the year, in order to preserve his redshirt status. Those four games can be played at any point in the season, so you can get a freshman some game reps early in the year vs an FCS team and then never use them again. If they still have some games left, you could even bring them back in for a playoff run, assuming wear and tear has run your roster down and you need a fresh body when the season matters most. Once a player has played in their 5th game in a season, they are no longer eligible for a redshirt that year, but will be eligible for a redshirt the following year. Lastly, if micromanaging redshirts is not your thing, anyone who is eligible for a redshirt at the end of the season will have it automatically applied!

This needs to be read, then read again, then go to sleep, wake up, read again by like 98% of coaches that call pitches. The pitcher has the ball, you don’t. Empower him to own the game through pitch calling & proper communication with him & his catcher. 👇👇👇
Baseball Dudes Inc. 🇺🇸⚾️@BaseballDudes48

Dear coaches who insist on calling pitches from the dugout: • You should be checking in with your starting pitcher after their pre game bullpen to see how they are feeling. What they feel comfortable with and how everything else is feeling. • Make sure you are aware of all the different pitches your pitchers throw (yes this has to be said). • You should be finding time to discuss pitch selection with your pitcher and catcher on the why, when and how. • If your pitcher is struggling with FB command, make sure to utilize their off speed, don’t keep throwing FB’s hoping it comes back. • Make sure you are teaching them what it means to be UN-predictable with pitch selection. Stay away from patterns. • Recognize what’s working for your pitchers that day, don’t just call pitches based of a scouting report. • Find time to give them the reins. Give them opportunities to use what they are learning. Don’t forget too, if you’re smart enough to call pitches from the dugout then you are smart enough to teach THEM how to do it too. Realize most pitchers and catchers love this part of the game. Teach them and then let THEM play.
