The Senate race is a statewide election. It is not dictated by the district lines currently under review. The U.S. Senate race should proceed exactly as scheduled without interference or delay. The right to vote in a public election is the cornerstone of our republic. Voters deserve clarity and consistency, and there is nothing in the SCOTUS ruling that should disrupt the democratic process in the U.S. Senate race.
