@ThePrimeagen Wtf is this language? In the age of AI we should have the equivalent of the death penalty for any employed developer - You produce slop like this, your computer is taken away and you can only apply to jobs which dont involve computers. Its to protect everyone else really.

@shiri_shh Is he wrong tho? Their actual job is to screw you over and protect the company should anything happen. While they are not doing their job, a bunch of millenial women are going around trying to invent problems. I never met anyone who liked HR besided the c-suite.

most GenZ thing a CEO has ever said:
“We had an HR team, and that HR team was creating problems that didn’t exist. Those problems disappeared when I let them go.”

JUST IN: Bolt CEO Ryan Breslow fired the company’s entire HR team because they were “creating problems that didn’t exist.”

@teej_dv @KevinNaughtonJr I am not smart enough to know, but this really smart lady Kamala told it is something like this. Very cool!

@jarredsumner @ThePrimeagen The joke in tweet is about how you wouldn't "need to keep fixing" because mythos would just fix them. Its apperently really good, you should try it. I can't try it because I am a default dangerous criminal from the permanent underclass, according to your boss.

@ThePrimeagen here is a screenshot of some of the bun v1.3.14 release notes.
many more bugfixes like this
can’t rule out skill issue, but manual memory management combined with GC-managed memory is hard. could keep fixing one-off, or we could make it harder for these bugs to happen

@NewLeftEViews Way too late. Oil shockwave is in fact coming (it has not even started yet) even if they reopen the gay of hormuz in the next hour

@testingcatalog Watch them come up with some other stupid scheme to use it. You'll probably need to send them a scan of your anus or something like that, its Anthropic afterall

ANTHROPIC 🔥: Claude Mythos model has been spotted on Google Cloud Console.
-claude-mythos 👀
It is hard to imagine that Anthropic would change its mind and release it publicly but they could act as a model provider for those companies who have access to the model and run their stuff on GCP.

AiBattle@AiBattle_
Claude Mythos now appears in the Google Cloud console, which was not the case yesterday The preview label is also gone. Is Anthropic preparing for a public release? Opus 4.7 also appeared first in the Google Cloud console before its release

That's it. I am buying a cabin in the woods.

I strongly believe there are entire companies right now under heavy AI psychosis and its impossible to have rational conversations about it with them. I can't name any specific people because they include personal friends I deeply respect, but I worry about how this plays out.
I lived through the great MTBF vs MTTR (mean-time-between-failure vs. mean-time-to-recovery) reckoning of infrastructure during the transition to cloud and cloud automation. All those arguments are rearing their ugly heads again but now its... the whole software development industry (maybe the whole world, really).
It's frightening, because the psychosis folks operate under an almost absolute "MTTR is all you need" mentality: "its fine to ship bugs because the agents will fix them so quickly and at a scale humans can't do!" We learned in infrastructure that MTTR is great but you can't yeet resilient systems entirely.
The main issue is I don't even know how to bring this up to people I know personally, because bringing this topic up leads to immediately dismissals like "no no, it has full test coverage" or "bug reports are going down" or something, which just don't paint the whole picture.
We already learned this lesson once in infrastructure: you can automate yourself into a very resilient catastrophe machine. Systems can appear healthy by local metrics while globally becoming incomprehensible. Bug reports can go down while latent risk explodes. Test coverage can rise while semantic understanding falls. Changes happens so fast that nobody notices the underlying architecture decaying.
I worry.

@ThePrimeagen I dont even blame GH for this anymore. They are victims. They have to deal with million plus line LLM slop diffs and prs (which nobody reads and cheks anyway, so why is it even a pr? Just merge it directly no questions asked) on the daily

@ishaansehgal Finally a product for me. All this time I had a real problem using AI because it was just too private and secure. Now, with omnara I can have yet another usless third party storing my code and promots into their database. Thank you! The more eyes on it the safer.

@hydrangea_cc @rfleury Ladybird is in prealfa stage. With bun people use it in production. Zero announcement, in fact just a couple days ago he was saying don't overreact its just a test. A couple of days later he merged a million line PR and is now activly deleting zig source.
