@frenchudcon if you wanna be super accurate you need to add the issuing authority, and the date of expiry would be exactly 10 years after the date of issue

@BenSmith2588 neither, it was a neutral thing, I just think most people misunderstood what this was.
thank you!

@peligrrr I don't know if you are saying this as a good thing or a bad thing but you are mostly right. We have a few games launching with us that aren't under our umbrella and some more on the way.
Side note, I love Roadside Research, Super Battle Golf, and Poker Joker 😁

nah, people do overthink their marketing/publishing. get validation in any form, but don’t get hung up on min-maxing The Wishlist Game.
min-maxing is for optimizing your long tail. if you had to fight hard for your 100k wl on launch, chances are they won’t convert anyway

Very excited to show what we've been working on in the Triple-i Initiative, on April 9th!
The showcase is 45 minutes long with just trailers, and no ads or filler. Hope to see you there :) @iii_initiative

@DaFluffyPotato @Dexerto 198k is what he gets after the valve cut, just needs to pay his personal taxes, so it's still way over 100k left.
English

@BlitzIstHeir @Dexerto these are very normal CCU numbers for those sales

@dibujoslucas @modredcastleton well kinda, yeah, there’s government funding available in many european countries, canada, some latam countries, some south-east asian countries.
English

@modredcastleton yeah because governments throwing money at indie devs is so common elsewhere right

Nice gesture but word to the wise kids - 60k will in no way cover your ass for production for more than a few months & that's assuming you half sorta know what you're doing (you won't).
Learn to produce assets yourself and smoke the meat in house - as they say. Or crowd fund. :D

@Samophlange85 @terminallyOL you do have to wait a few weeks though for the sales estimates to become somewhat accurate
English

@Samophlange85 @terminallyOL there absolutely is a way to gauge how a game sold. just go to the steamdb page in the screenshots and scroll down a little.
English

the funniest misconception i see about steam player charts is that the highest concurrent total players equals the total sales
GIN@GIN_XSX
Rough estimates, same time been released on Steam : 88,337x$40 = $3.5 mils for Marathon 526,793x$25 = $13 mils for Slay the Spire 2 Marathon budget is $250 mils Slay the Spire 2 budget is 2 Desktops and electricity bills
English

@thugmajesty7 the correlation between copies sold/CCU and reviews isn’t 1:1 across all games, there are games where copies sold = reviews x10, and others where it’s x200
