my homie got his FB profile banned 2 months ago, and his ad account has been spending every single day, and he physically cannot turn off his ads. they just keep running. he didn't have anyone else connected on the BM, which truthfully is on him that's a poor opsec practice but still. this happened to me a few years ago, honestly can't believe it's still happening and I know he's not the only one. he's just getting slapped with like $50k+ bills from Meta every month spending on unprofitable ads. support obv no help. insiders couldn't get the profile back. what do u even do in this position lol. incredibly criminal, but nothing out of the ordinary for FB we can all agree.

I'm curious why I dont see any of the Local LLM guys recommending these? With 3090s going for ~$1200 or so, these seem like a very viable upgrade to DDR7 and new architecture versus a 6 year old card... They are super narrow so you can stack them easily. Why aren't more people looking at these?

Our Codex dashboards are showing increased rate of users hitting rate limits and since we don't fully understand why I have made the cautious decision of resetting the usage limits for all plans. Enjoy. I also wanted to celebrate us finding a pocket of fraudulent accounts that we banned and have helped us regain some compute. The fight against abuse never stops, but it's important to mark the moment and make it a little shared victory.

I think TT and other platforms really will crack down on what an 'authentic' user looks like very soon (i.e. more aggressive device fingerprinting). Your only option now to remain viable in the future are phone farms, with country specific sims, reputable 5G proxies, and few accounts per phone (if not one eventually). You can control these phones programmatically with OTG rigs from taobao... but at scale this is just a headache. But if you did go ahead, $150 per account minimum lol.

The price of RAM is up like 2x in the last month I feel like I'm going crazy trying to buy parts for a pc For the same price as 256GB of ram for a PC, you can get a whole mac studio with an M3 Ultra chip, 2TB of SSD, that also has 256GB of ram (but it has a 3.5 month leadtime)
