Designers get caught up in the work. Sharing often takes a back seat. Here’s a quick look at some of the things I’ve been designing lately.

Felt like I got a breather this week. The announcements slowed... a little bit. There's a few interesting trends I'm seeing. The design approach is getting more refined and meeting our needs, as well as generative UI moving forward and the full agentic development loop continuing to close fast. The big news for designers was that @Replit have released Agent 4. The first tool that allows designers to work in an infinite canvas for design iteration whilst agents build out your ideas. Multiplayer collaboration, direct publishing to stores, multi agent flows... it's all here. A really impressive release that I would encourage digital designers to try. blog.replit.com/introducing-ag… Agentic first computing got a massive shot in the arm with the release of Personal Computer by @perplexity_ai. It's an always on system which works like OpenClaw. The computing interface is undergoing massive change, it's happening now. perplexity.ai/personal-compu… Generative UI charges forward with new releases from ChatGPT and Claude to allow interactive learning and tasks with UIs created on the fly. This is early days, but the right direction. openai.com/index/new-ways… Agentic commerce got an upgrade with @tryramp releasing Agent Cards. Agents now get their own wallet and can transact. agents.ramp.com/cards @xenovacom released a new realtime transcription model you can run locally called Voxtral. Performance looks exceptional for it being locally run. Great for privacy apps you want to build. lnkd.in/gkGCb388 And whilst we're chatting about building, Anthropic dropped Code Review, a pr review system which picks up prs, spins up a team of agents to hunt for bugs and automatically addresses them. The agentic development loop is closing fast. huggingface.co/spaces/mistral… And this was a slow week!

@chalaska This must have been terrifying, especially with a young family. Has it made you question if you stay in Dubai?

I’ve been physically shaken by the sound and vibration of over 10 missiles being intercepted and hitting Dubai today, some as I was trying to put my son to sleep. Seeing the amount of insensitivity online makes me sick, people joking about real estate prices and immigration at a time like this.

@petarc I mean does the app start breaking or AI start introducing errors because it has to go through the whole project vs just one single page?:)

Couldn't code on Friday. Shipped an app on Sunday. After 20 years designing apps for others, I finally built my own with Claude Code. It's called Paak. It helps you pack smarter for trips. Not a prototype. Not a Figma file. A real, live app. Designers sitting on ideas because you "can't code"... just try it. apps.apple.com/au/app/paak/id…

@petarc dude this is sick. Great inspo for me to finally work on a few apps! How's the maintenance of everything once the app becomes more complex?

Each of the new Brave Search API plans includes $5 of free credit that renews every month. This makes Brave Search API an easy and cheap way to start building applications, creating personal projects or experimenting with agentic AI like OpenClaw.

Linear’s agent can now listen to calls and create issues. set up another listener via MCP for Cursor to have issues fixed and sent to engineering as a pr in minutes. accelerate.

Pretty special seeing a project I worked on with Evidence for Impact pick up a Good Design Award. Not why we do the work, but always good to see it recognised. @GoodDesignAus

So @DreamflowApp feels incredibly special. Like one of those moments where you feel the paradigm shifting in terms of how you produce work. I haven't felt like this since the first time I used Figma.
