@Cathoaks17 Thats not true at the moment you get a 50% discount on your CGT and pay tax on the balance which is ok but the new system is way worse for future investment!!

It doesn't effect my investments as they are grandfathered but it does effect all the young people and anyone that wants to invest going forward why would anyone take the risks with their already taxed money and start a business or invest if they lose so much to their 47% silent partner the gov which does not take any risk. This is bad for Australia and young Australians going forward thatsp the problem.
