Hey X, I’m Pete. Founder of Findable. We help websites show up in AI Search (ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity). How? 1️⃣ Measure visibility 2️⃣ Suggest improvements 3️⃣ Track progress On repeat. Used by 1000s of marketers & SEOs worldwide. Before that? I co-founded 10+ companies across 3 continents, sold 2, invested in some… But the truth is: Most of my projects failed. Not because of bad products. They failed because of lack of distribution. “How do your customers find you?” That question haunted me for years. Now AI is becoming the gatekeeper deciding whether people discover you or your competitor. That’s the problem I’m solving with Findable. My mission: Help 1M founders win in AI Search.

a16z quietly published a 34-page internal memo on how their portfolio companies are completely abandoning traditional SEO. It got 200 views. Here's everything inside it. The memo opened with one line that stopped me cold. "Google rankings are becoming irrelevant for brands whose customers use AI to make purchasing decisions." Their data showed something nobody is talking about publicly. Portfolio companies that ranked #1 on Google for their core keywords saw a 34% drop in organic traffic in 12 months. Rankings didn't change. Traffic did. The customer behavior changed underneath them. People stopped clicking. They started asking. ChatGPT. Perplexity. Claude. Gemini. AI search doesn't show you 10 blue links and let you choose. It writes an answer and picks its sources for you. Your customer never sees your page. They see what the AI decided to say about you. The memo called the fix Generative Engine Optimization. GEO. Here's what their top portfolio companies are actually doing right now. They stopped writing blog posts for Google crawlers. Started writing content structured for AI extraction. Short, dense, citation-worthy paragraphs. Specific claims with verifiable numbers. The kind of content an AI can quote directly. They obsessively pursued earned media. Reviews. Expert mentions. Third-party coverage. Because AI models trust established publications infinitely more than brand websites. They treated their website like an API. Clean structure. Schema markup. Answers formatted so a machine can read and repeat them instantly. And they built authority in every language their customers speak. Because ChatGPT in French runs on completely different source data than ChatGPT in English. The brands winning in AI search aren't the ones with the best SEO agencies. They're the ones the AI already trusts. SEO optimized for clicks. GEO optimizes for citations. That shift is already happening whether you're ready or not.

GPT-5.4 is launching, available now in the API and Codex and rolling out over the course of the day in ChatGPT. It's much better at knowledge work and web search, and it has native computer use capabilities. You can steer it mid-response, and it supports 1m tokens of context.

Claude just released Opus 4.6. It’s already answering millions of questions about companies every day. Most companies have no idea what it says about them, or their competitors. @__tosh built a free tool to show you. Check it out: findableapp.com/features/brand…

I replaced a $200K GTM hire with @openclaw 😱 here's the system that runs my outbound: step 1: mine LinkedIn engagement → @rapidapi scrapes everyone engaging with niche content → someone who commented on specific posts = 10x warmer step 2: enrich + verify → Hunter/Apollo finds the decision-maker + email → @Perplexity deep research pulls signals like hiring, fundraising, media appearances, quotes step 3: score against your ICP → title, company, signals = ranked 0-100 → only A-tier leads get touched step 4: write personalized outreach → Claude writes outreach referencing what they ACTUALLY engaged with and talk about step 5: send via @instantly_ai → 3-email sequence. automated follow-ups. step 6: pre-call deep research → @PerplexityComet builds a 1-page briefing 30 min before every call input: your ICP + niche keywords output: booked meetings with people who already care $200K/year GTM engineer → $130/month in APIs. I packaged the entire system as the First 1000 Kit: - all 8 @openclaw skills - every prompt - tool-by-tool setup - email sequences that convert giving it away free. comment 1000 + like + follow (must follow so i can DM)

The funniest take is that I "failed" 43 times when people look at my GitHub repos and projects. Uhmm... no? Most of these are part of @openclaw, I had to build an army to make it useful. github.com/steipete/

The story of Open Claw’s Founder → be Peter Steinberger → sell your company PSPDFKit for $100M+ → spend three years in existential crisis → come back, vibe-code 43 failed projects → project 44 is Clawdbot, an open-source AI agent → goes viral → Anthropic hits you with a trademark complaint → rename to MoltBot → crypto scammers hijack your accounts in seconds → almost quit entirely → secret rebrand to OpenClaw, 180K GitHub stars → Meta and OpenAI both make offers → choose OpenAI, join Feb 14 2026 → Altman calls you “a genius”
