FIFTEEN FAMILIES SHATTERED FOREVER and Albo’s disgusting secrecy proves he cares more about his buddies than your safety. Fifteen innocent Australians gunned down in cold blood at a Hanukkah celebration in Bondi Beach by ISIS-inspired antisemitic terrorists. Families shattered forever on Albanese’s watch. Yet instead of full transparency, Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has sunk to a disgraceful new low. His government is wielding Cabinet confidentiality like a shield, slapping public interest immunity on documents that could expose whether Labor gutted counter-terrorism resources before the attack. Shame on him. While the Royal Commission tries to uncover the truth, Albo’s team blocks scrutiny. ASIO didn’t even request this secrecy, it came straight from his office. This is in no way protecting the nation; it’s protecting Labor’s failures. We don’t feel safe anymore. Not when this government funnels grants to mosques and “community” groups whose leaders mourn mass-murdering Islamists and glorify the very extremism that killed 15 of us. Priorities are completely backwards, pandering to certain Muslim buddies while everyday Australians pay the price in blood. Fifteen dead. No more excuses. Release the documents, Albo. Or history will never forget your ultimate betrayal.

Albanese goes on about making homes more affordable. This is the same bloke that is negatively gearing his $4.3 million beach house while charging $1,600 per week in rent. Just that move alone drove up house prices and rent prices in the area of Copacabana

I was born here, I’ll raise my family here, will work here, will always live here and will likely die here. If you think I’m going to be quiet while our retarded politicians import immigrants to replace us, think again. Australia is my home and it’s worth fighting for. 🇦🇺❤️

Born in Pakistan (a shithole country) in 1963 and moved to Australia in 1992 when she was 29, Mehreen Faruqi joined the Greens in 2004, then in 2013 elected and became the first Muslim woman to be a member of an Australian parliament. Mehreen Faruqi supports free Palestine (basically supports Hamas) and constantly criticises Australia being racist. If Australia is racist, how on earth she as a Muslim born in Pakistan elected into Australian government. Shane on you @MehreenFaruqi ! For those supporting the Greens, shame on you too!

Albanese will not walk away from the core principles underpinning his Govt’s controversial fifth budget & modern Labor’s long-term plan to harvest a new generation of voters by waging intergenerational war against “wealthy tax evaders”. The Prime Minister hasn’t lost a wink of sleep over the backlash against a divisive budget stacked with new taxes, broken election promises, soaring debt & rosy predictions headlined by assumed savings in the out-of-control NDIS. Albanese is neither shocked, disappointed nor upset by the reaction to Chalmers’ budget, which sits alongside the Keating 1993 budget & Abbott Govt’s 2014 budget as the most unpopular in Newspoll history. Threats from investors to take business away from Australia, concerns about changes to negative gearing & capital gains tax concessions doing nothing for housing supply, attacks over broken promises & questions regarding the tax treatment of trusts are yet to cause panic in Labor ranks. There might be some tweaks & exemptions following discussion papers, consultation & token inquiries. But for now, Albanese is committed to riding out the storm, like he has before. Expect to hear a lot about “engaging in good faith”, which is a precursor to not doing much about carve-outs for anxious stakeholders. Labor backbenchers privately lament the lack of internal debate in caucus & limited consultation with party stakeholders. Inquirer understands the Albanese Gov’t is enforcing some of the toughest caucus rules in history around media appearances. Ministers are being directed to podcasts & soft interviews to avoid tougher questions. When Labor MPs & ministers step out of line, they are hauled over the coals. They must stick to talking points framing valid budget questions as “scare campaigns, misinformation, dishonest & deliberate distortions of truth”, even if the criticism comes from respected business leaders or prominent Labor figures including NSW Premier Chris Minns & WA Premier Roger Cook. Labor MPs are encouraged to talk about global events such as Hantavirus & Ebola outbreaks or the closure of the Strait of Hormuz. On the budget, they should focus on housing & amplify that too many young Australians – who Labor says have limited exposure to trusts or shares – are being outbid at auctions by “greedy investors”. Over a 10-week period between February 28 (when the US & Israel struck Iran) & the budget being handed down on May 12, Albanese, Chalmers & Finance Minister Katy Gallagher pulled out their “hunting licences” as they pivoted the first budget of their second-term government to policies aimed at wooing disillusioned young voters & working Australians fed up with the cost-of-living crisis. Albanese, who chairs the expenditure review committee of cabinet, worked with deputy chair, Chalmers & Gallagher as a triumvirate to fast-track measures & expedite discrete sensitive budget decisions without broader consultation. After 7 years of denying an Albanese Gov’t would resuscitate Bill Shorten’s big-taxing agenda – including crackdowns on negative gearing, CGT concessions & trusts – the trio plotted Labor’s great budget heist. *Albanese, 63, had already broken 3 big promises in his first term: lowering power bills by $275, preserving superannuation tax concessions & keeping Coalition-era stage 3 tax cuts intact. If Labor could break promises & win 94-seats, the hubristic Albanese Gov’t was confident it could breach the faith with voters again. The only caveat was the big tax changes had to be done early in the term & together in one ugly budget. Fear & loathing .. The political equation for Albanese & his senior colleagues & advisers was based on a “counterfactual process” that tested the pros & cons of going for broke. Bigger taxes would improve the budget bottom line, free up money for pet projects & support Labor’s $47bn housing program. theaustralian.com.au/commentary/wha…
