You didn't win either of the 2 national elections. You won a few Council seats and have already lost several of them because you were either too busy counting your ill gotten gains to realise the candidates were mad racists, or you didn't care that they were.

So Farage is complaining that his secret £5m donation was only disclosed due to hacking - implying he never intended to disclose it all - it took illegality to expose his own wrong doing. Not sure that’s much to crow about. Farage needs to explain why he never had or intended to disclose this. That’s my view - we only know about his rule breaking, he says - because of the rule breaking of others.

A lot of noise about Starmer, but I remain convinced that the majority of the people saying he needs to leave have no idea why they actually feel that way. They just feel that way because a lot of the media tell them to do so. Really quite depressing, to be honest.

So bored of news outlets trying to write the news rather than report it.

I am at a loss to understand why the government has done nothing to reform @ofcom which is not fit for purpose and has allowed Farage UK to have its own TV news channel; nothing to push back on the relentless bias and untruthfulness of most of our press; and nothing to respond to the capture of the BBC political coverage by the Gibb brigade.

The ministers urging Starmer to go are feeding the hysteria. The next leader will be subject to instant leadership speculation and the next, and the next, whether Labour, Reform or Tory. Britain is becoming ungovernable. And the media fixation on this tittle tattle is not helping
