Today is a special day for my family. It’s our girls “gotcha day”, our adoption is finalized and I am so thankful we are blessed with two beautiful girls. It has been our privilege to foster them the past two years and I look forward to watching them grow into beautiful young women. Foster care is hard, adoption is hard - while one family is united, another is forever broken. All foster parents wish they were not needed, but I am so humbled by the foster care community and their willingness to open their homes and their hearts to children who need them. So raise a glass, sing a hallelujah, and celebrate with my family today ❤️🙏
