@MartinSLewis can you please look into the 33% price hike I've been given by @virginmedia despite being at the beginning of an 18month contract? A £68 bill going up £21.50 is highway robbery. They said I can call to cancel but you just get cut off, can't get through to anyone.
Well #virginmedia you can get stuffed if you think I’m happy with you raising my bill by 21.5%. I’ll be calling you in the next few days to cancel my contract after 25 years

@virginmedia Now I’ve finally got through to someone… I’ve been transferred to random person at o2 and now back on hold… with my virgin cancellation request seemingly ignored… embarrassing and unacceptable. Just let me cancel as my contract allows me!

@akhaliqinnit@virginmedia I had the exact same experience. Still trying to cancel after a week of phone-calls and no one taking any notice. Passed from department to department, get cut off and no one seems to understand that you just want to cancel.
@virginmedia very disappointed in your customer services. Twice I have tried to cancel my contract and twice your staff cut the call or stopped WhatsApp messages once I asked to cancel!!
@virginmedia Tried the WhatsApp option to get through to cancel…. Im still in a queue from 8.25am this morning!! Virgin knew they would get hammered with cancellation requests……
