If a member of the EU we are the EU. It is not an outside body when a member. Removing barriers to trade, growth & prosperity mean more trade, growth & prosperity. The highest of barriers are regulatory & customs borders between different legally regulated & customs territories. Rejoining the EU would again remove these with the EU27. Meaning vast growth into the EU regardless of how the EU is growing into other markets. Which has just opened up other new markets to a greater degree than the UK has eg MERCOSUR, India...& Australia

I do not "worship" it, but I do see the incontrovertible practical & economic (& status/combined collective strength) benefits of membership...
in both business & personal life (inc, here from personal experience).
Do read the whole thread I provided in above posting.
Also consider why whole of Europe is queueing up to stay a member or get closer to the EU, apart from Russia @JohnRConstable

Nope. It will allow them to travel (Schengen is a Common Travel Area, like the one the UK has but on a bigger scale) but it will not allow them "free movement" which is the right to live & work visa free.. a right only given to *citizens* of an EU or EFTA member state. The problem with Brexit is that too many @john4brexit idiots - who still confuse & conflate a SM, a CU, FoM & a CTA - were allowed a vote

The UK Govt should put out a public warning notice though, that if a young British student (any Brit) does fall in love with a Swedish girl/Italian guy they won't now be able to live together in the UK,
without the Brit earning a minimum of 29000 pa, without kids.

Taking a day off. No emails. No writing. No paperwork. The only decision I will be making is what to eat. I was asked yesterday how I manage such a heavy workload, the answer is knowing when to stop & take care of yourself. I had a long list of tasks this morning, they can wait.

EU entry-exit system: Greece goes its own way.
The EES – fingerprints/facial biometrics taken from all "third-country nationals" – is supposed to operate at all Schengen area frontiers.
But Greece has decided to drop the biometrics for UK passport holders.
