The "how do you insert yourself into...customers spend caps..." starts with owning usage tracking/metering in realtime, accurately. Alerting then naturally follows. @amberfloio we offer both #metering and #billing.

Our view is that the concerns outlined are not a limitation of the usage-based business model, but rather growing pains where traditional solutions do not offer these capabilities

@AdamLaGreca @amberfloio I think it’s a great solution sometimes. Everyone loves usage based pricing until their bill is 10x what they thought it’d be, and there’s no sync between users and the budget holder. If you want pricing predictability then usage based only works if it turns off at your limit.
