AI slop has to be one of the most overused statements these days. There is a massive difference between "AI Slop" and creatively created content using AI. Just because something is made with AI doesn't automatically mean it's slop. This for instance I've spent legitimately hours on so far. And for stuff like this, previz and proof of concept stuff, AI generation will be invaluable. Speaking of this I'd love to work with some VR devs who are creating concepts for games to help with previz and visual concepts to show game mechanics and gameplay.

I use AI. I am an artist. But more than anything I AM A HUMAN. Don't strip me of my humanity because I welcome technology. Almost everything we do is integrated with technology. Traveling: vehicles, planes, ships, rockets. Entertainment: TV's, Radio, Cellphones, Computers, video game consoles. Technology has also helped fight heath issues such as diseases, cancers, and so many other sicknesses that were once death sentences for humans... So I don't think any of this hatred and resentment has anything to do with AI's material .... it's about them not being able to control the material that AI produces. That is what the establishment has a problem with. Losing control.

Any thoughts on incorporating AI in your workflow and simply scaling your output / number of clients ? At he end of the day, it's your taste which is still incredibly valuable, AI can just make production faster + you can use it to build one of the best graphic design agencies

The self-centered culture we live in is the reason some egocentric individuals cannot perceive the marvel of collective intelligence.

This was impressive 3/4 years ago, now it’s just boring. I genuinely miss being able to look at something on the internet and feel inspired by it. Now everything makes me question whether I’m being impressed by a person or an algorithm... the latter is NOT interesting to me.

I dunno - as a parent its a fine line between encouraging and supporting and not gaslighting when they suck at things. It probably a bigger issue for a child when they do a half ass job at something and you act like its the mona lisa - My oldest loves to rush through a project and expects everyone to say what a great job she did, when in fact she did not do her best. On the other hand I don't want them to think my love and joy for them is contingent upon their accomplishments or capabilities. In any event, Reddit is sure to have the wrong take.
