2 years ago, if you told me that starting this Twitter account would change my life, I would’ve laughed.
But here’s what actually happened:
- Built a decent income (Well above average for where I'm from)
- Got married.
- Moved to 2 different countries.
- Traveled to a few countries.
- 25 M+ views on content I've edited.
- Worked with people I once considered untouchable.
- Met friends who shattered my limiting beliefs.
All because I decided to show up here.
When I started freelancing in 2022, it was out of desperation.
My mum had just been diagnosed with terminal cancer, and the only skill I could lean on was video editing.
But slowly I started loving it and learning more.
I got paid $15 to edit a 15 minute vlog as my first gig on Fiverr.
I got scammed for $180 CAD on the first ever retainer I closed through outreach. It was for 6 shorts.
But all of that didn't stop me.
Alhamdulillah, I'm grateful for everything.
But to be honest, I’ve never been consistent on posting here.
Some months I didn’t post at all.
But now I'm taking the advice @fyreinteractive has been yelling at me for close to a year.
I'm going all in on posting here.
Also, expect a rebrand soon.
Finally, if you are ever hesitant about posting your work, or promoting yourself out there on socials, this is your sign to go all in.

@MagnatesMedia 'I have an agency that produces YouTube videos for content creators or founders'
That was my last one, although I'm always changing depending on the person asking too 😂

@Bkesharwani22 Thanks for reading bro.
I agree, it's a problem disguised as an opportunity.
Makes you feel like everything is going better but you're actually moving further away from your goal.

@nicocc__ Thanks for this one
the red dress women analogy is literally a big problem when everything is working perfectly

At Faster Than Normal, we find ourselves at the very start of our journey, but if there's something that you should take away from this prologue, it's these two lessons that have shaped my life in 2025.
1) Understand the value you can provide
The only way to keep moving forward in your professional life is to be confident in the exact value you bring to your industry (and thus, to the world)
2) Have an unshakable resolve.
This will make you resilient to any storms or distractions that may appear along your path.
