@jeremycorbyn Why is it that US/Israeli tech companies are allowed to gain our most confidential data without question or scrutiny.I don’t buy the “allies” argument. These companies exist for pure profit and the interests of their parent governments above all else.

Palantir has been granted “unlimited access” to NHS patient data. This is the same company that is involved in mass surveillance and genocide. We did not consent to this. Get Palantir out of our NHS, now.

@JamesMelville The British public have *never* elected a Prime Minister. We elect a local MP. From candidates selected by the political parties. The political party selects one of those to be its leader. The party decides the Prime Minister, not the people.

Menzies Campbell Charles Kennedy Ken Clarke John Smith Tony Benn Jim Wallace Barbara Castle Betty Boothroyd Mo Mowlam Jimmy Reid Michael Heseltine Alex Salmond Donald Dewar Willie Whitelaw Regardless of whether you agreed with them or not, they were politicians with independent thinking, gravitas, intellect and genuine public servants. We don’t have anything like the same standard of politicians today. And that’s a major part of the reason why the public are totally disenfranchised with the political shysters in parliament right now.

Elyned Morgan is,by some distance, the worst and most inept FM in the history of the Senedd. Thank god the Labour stranglehold in Cymru has been well and truly broken.I have never understood how they managed to hold such strong, sustained support here🤔 #post" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">bbc.co.uk/news/live/c1l2…

@EwanMacKenna I personally would not want to associate myself with ANYONE who is fully supportive of what Israel and the IDF have done in Gaza and Lebanon, whether Jew or non Jew. I,though revulsed by such opinion, would never contemplate violence against them.

Strange how the same people, so comfortable and supportive of endless violence and death, all suddenly come out to decry stabbings. And blame everyone consistently against endless violence and death as being responsible for it. Israel is the single biggest cause of antisemtism.

Serious question Do people ACTUALLY THINK Donald Trump would fake an assassination just so he could justify building a ballroom And to distract away from the Epstein files?

I am appalled by the incident at the White House Correspondents Dinner overnight - relieved that @POTUS, @FLOTUS and guests are safe. Our best wishes to the injured officer for a swift recovery. We must stand together against political violence. It has no place in our democracies

@henrywinter IMHO There is something deeply concerning about how these various disciplinary panels operate. How is it that WBA can be judged and prosecuted so quickly,as were Everton/Notts Forest,Leicester etc,but Man City are STILL awaiting verdicts🤦‍♂️🤬if only on some of the 100+ breaches🤔

So a club can sell its hotel to itself, sell its women’s team to itself, but West Brom are punished, they believe, for legitimate “in-kind” donations to the Albion Foundation, its charity partner that saves lives. Albion also believe the alleged PSR breach is “less than £2m”

@JamesMelville It’s the same in practically every aspect of modern day life.I honestly feel that ageism is rampant amongst so many corporations and services.Digitalisation does NOT equate to convenience, especially when problems occur🤦‍♂️Even daily shopping is a pain when tills are self service🤬

Digitalisation is “for your convenience.” - try explaining that to the 3 million people who are not online in the UK. The majority (67%) are aged 70 or over. The digitalisation of everything is creating digital exclusion for millions of people - in particular, our elderly.
