Genuine question: Why are Tesla trade ins SO low 😭 Other dealerships are calling me offering 20% more, even though Tesla would sell my new model Y so easily. For context: we paid $64k for our new Model Y 8 months ago, now trade in is $46k. Dealerships offering $55k. *I'm committed to selling it privately at this point

After much thought, I have asked Tesla to remove the $10,100 FSD option from my Model Y L invoice. Everyone is going to have a different opinion on this, but ultimately for me (as I'm about to take delivery next week) I can't justify the extra cost, even as someone that uses FSD every day (and loves it). The subscription option just suits us better, even if the price goes up. I may regret dropping the opportunity to have one of the last FSD-optioned cars. But selling more Tesla stock also doesn't sit well with me. Time will tell.

My Tesla got damaged… and Sentry Mode had NO footage. Turns out the factory drive only keeps a few days - and it wiped everything before I could check. I fixed it with a simple 1TB SSD upgrade. Quick 5-min install, huge peace of mind. Full video in the first reply.👇

It would be so sick if Tesla had a portable Powerwall Mini that utilized the same LFP cells as the Powerwall 3. It would be their version of an EcoFlow. You could charge Optimus off one, run Starlink, and more. Tons of use cases, they would sell like crazy imo.

Just about to hit 50,000km in my Model 3 Highland LFP, delivered on 26/08/2024. I've been keeping tabs on the estimated range over time. Currently showing ~2% degradation. Gotta love LFP!

Update: The Zeekr 7X is a great car. It excels in comfort and features vs a Tesla Model Y. But Teslas experience in EVs really shines through in technology and safety. The Zeekr is a great option for those coming from legacy brands. But Tesla owners will likely feel a downgrade if software is a priority. In light of this, I won't be releasing my Zeekr video. After spending 13 hours on it, it's not up to my normal standards. The below chart was featured as my conclusion in the video.
