I’m not even joking when I say that Alexis MacAllister deserves a red card for this.
He’s lying and trying to get someone else sent off. Not to mention how embarrassing it is, but it’s a trend that needs to stop.
Make an example and it will. x.com/Adeyemi_AFC/st…
And if PSG are the centre of football in 2026 then it makes me think “what can Liverpool do to be on that level”
And that makes me hope that Richard Hughes/Michael Edwards and Will Spearman are all a lot smarter than everyone else on social media because the signings were linked to are not going to move the needle to anywhere close to PSG.
Wirtz, Ekitike, Isak, Kerkez was definitely an inspired window. They all take us closer to that zenith.
But all the names fans are clamouring for this summer? Not sure he moves the needle enough. Diomande might be a shout. I think he has a real Mané feeling about him. The way he dribbles and uses his body is so next level. Not in complexity but in pure efficiency. He does what is needed, he does it well, he does it often. I can get behind that.
But in midfield, we need something and I’m not sure Wharton solves that.
So I’m hoping the big men at the top of the hierarchy have done their homework and bring us transfer targets who are unexpected but prove that we’ve done the homework needed to eclipse PSG.
I really wanna invest in some stocks but I haven’t got a clue what I’m looking at…I’ve been safely gaining interest on my money in my bank but I want some play around money to potentially grow
@HLTCO@PeterCrouchPod Starts by saying the club chooses you then goes on a long rant how the club doesn't choose you and how you need to choose the club local to you.
@didopich@jimmybagels306 This is what I would do tbf but with Gravenberch instead of Nyoni. Then we would have 5 very strong bench options to bring on 60 in Wirtz Ekitike Rio Robbo Mac Callister
@jimmybagels306@Robbie_OR I'd start both on the bench. The reality is that this game will probably be tight and if it's a draw we play 120 minutes. I'd rather them on the pitch from 60-120 and pens than the first 60 mins. If they can win it for us between 60-90 then great
Thankfully it didn’t affect the outcome of the match, but yet again Simon Hooper proved why he’s the most inept/biased ref in the league when he somehow deemed Dan Burn’s challenge on Cody Gakpo at the end to be fair, it was clearly a 2nd yellow if not a straight red. Unreal.

Liverpool have held secret talks with Xabi Alonso’s representatives in Spain 🇪🇸 as major decisions loom behind the scenes.
🔴 Discussions covered Alonso’s tactical vision and elite summer targets, with names including
• Micky van de Ven
• Adam Wharton
• Bradley Barcola
• Michael Olise
⚠️ Sources indicate Liverpool’s football operations team has decided Arne Slot will not continue next season, following concerns raised by senior players to club officials.
⏳ A managerial decision is now imminent.
🔄 Steven Gerrard is understood to be open to stepping in on a short-term basis if required, with exploratory meetings already having taken place.
Slot: "If the fans were frustrated with the way we played against Leeds and Sunderland, I completely agree with them as we didn't create enough chances, but what is mainly forgotten is that when Mo was out.
"I had just one winger in our squad that's played more than 100 minutes at Premier League level.
"Against low blocks, wingers are quite crucial. That's why I'm so happy that Mo is back. Usually, and Mo has shown this for so many years, if we had had that many chances with Mo in the team, then it would've resulted in a goal."
@TheAnfieldWrap If we keep creating nothing by keeping the ball in their half for ages and giving away big chances as soon as the other team get the ball the yes we do deserve to be one down
