🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🗣️ Mark Lawrenson on the BBC: “Well I’m 65 and a white male, so I was let go. Has it gone woke? It is top of the woke league. They are frightened to death, absolutely and totally frightened to death. You saw the stuff with Gary Lineker last season and obviously people at the head of the BBC, I think day by day, I think the integrity of the corporation gets chipped off. It used to be absolutely fantastic but they are woke, plus 100%.”

Not many people know this but the symbol on Nottingham Forest's badge is an outline of Martin O'Neil's hair from when he played there. Its often mistaken for a tree 🙄 #NottinghamForestFACTS @moneill31

@MikeTappTweets Of course you are. That’s because you’re well paid to stifle the left. Also, your position is in jeopardy because no-one believes your bullshit any more. Get in the bin already. Good riddance, you’re history.

I’m extremely worried about antisemites being not just members of the Green Party - but candidates! That combined with its leaders disturbing views, and its deputy leader calling for those kicked out for antisemitism to seek legal advice - paints a bleak picture. This is not ok in British politics!

@coyleneil lol. You weirdos have openly stated you used this scam to purge the left from Labour. Now you think it’ll work again for a different party? Piss off you puppet. Using Jewish trauma for your own ends is not a good look.

Let me get this straight. The rise in antisemitic attacks in Britain has NOTHING to do with Israel's (self proclaimed only Jewish state) litany of war crimes in recent years but IS connected to the protests and marches opposing those war crimes. Perfect. Got it.

@DDoblio @TadhgHickey Not ‘open’ just vulnerable. They’re using Jewish trauma for their own ends, and guess what?… Not helping.

@TadhgHickey If you find yourself coming up with excuses for why an ethnic minority should be open to physical attack for any reason, you’re not just a horrible person, you’re probably also what’s known as a “security risk.”

@TadhgHickey @simonmaginn I mean, as awful as this attack was… Why do 80% (guesstimate) of terrorist attacks in Britain happen within reaching distance of elections?…

@timstillman_ Var has never been the issue. How can video replays be a problem?! Implementation is the issue.

Both semi finals have been really good games between really good teams with VAR interrupting both of them like a fart in a lift. Get rid. Total VAR abolition now.

🚨🎙️Thierry Henry on Arteta playing Martinelli and Madueke at the expense of Saka and Eze. 🗣️“Ah, so now it’s a problem when we don’t play them, yes? So let me understand—you want him to play Saka and Eze today so you’ll say he risk Fulham. If he doesn’t, you say he doesn’t care about today. Very interesting logic. We have Fulham, yes—but also a second leg at home against Atlético Madrid. And there are games where you don’t just play… you have to finish the job. Today is about control. Control of the game, control of the rhythm, and especially control of ourselves—because if we lose that, we lose everything. If he plays Saka and Eze, you ask him about Fulham. If he doesn’t , you ask him about today. It’s always something. But this is why he makes the decisions, not you. We control today so that when Atlético Madrid come to our house, we don’t have to talk—we just finish the job.”

@EBL2017 Actually drew 3-3 on agg vs PSG over 3 matches… And no-one can tell me they’re better off without Donnaruma. He’s the only reason Arsenal didn’t make the final last year.

I reckon Tonali is better than Zubimendi. It’s also why he would cost £80m plus whereas Zubi was £56m. I’d be totally fine with having Tonali and Rice next season with Zubimendi able to stand in for either. Necessary for the amount of football we play.

The only reason that the NHS doesn’t have the staff or beds it needs is because a well-funded, well-staffed NHS removes any need for private healthcare.

@RohanJivanAFC Worth remembering the hate watchers complaint about Gyokeres when he was bought… He’s a flat track bully. Exactly what we need for the fixtures ahead… Fucking please. Let him prove them right!!!

Said this on last week’s pod… Get past Newcastle, which we have now, and our remaining fixtures are all against teams that don’t press aggressively. I think that’s massive for us, especially if Havertz is out for a bit. We absolutely can play through the pressure, but I don’t see this team exemplifying confidence right now to do it consistently, with the context of this being the final stretch. And I’ve said many times that the games I feel more nervous about are the ones against teams who press M2M. Why? Because it creates chaotic encounters. Very much centred around ‘loose ball’ collection. Having someone like Gyokeres up top in this environment is a huge net negative too. Give me teams who will sit off a tad more and that’s what we have in Fulham/West Ham/Burnley/Palace. Just watch these teams now press us aggressively ffs.
