Stress is rising worldwide🌎 Using global survey data (2.46M respondents, 146 countries), we @pwb_lab document sharp increases in perceived stress over 18 years and find that more fragile states see faster rises in stress, with implications for population health and policy.

@fundforpeace @fundforpeace, I’m curious to know if there’s a timeline for releasing the 2024 Fragile State Index data. Currently, the data available on the FSI website is limited to 2023. Thanks!

Thrilled to share that our new paper on subjective well-being in Afghanistan is out in @ScienceAdvances! It sheds light on the enduring psychological toll of war—reminding us that the human cost of conflict often persists long after the fighting stops.

Do you really want feedback? Or just someone to say you were right? Most of us view feedback as personal insults. Feedback is free advice. If you want to improve your writing you need to get feedback. #acwri

@tomgrundy As a well-being researcher , I want to thank @tomgrundy for reporting on the WHR! I'm wondering if you would be interested in talking with a co-author of the report (who happens to be my boss at University of Toronto), who's from HK. If so, I can make a connection!

The Canadian Happiness Report with @anthonymccanny and @pwb_lab is out! Here we included a section about youth well-being and mental health. Learned so much from the talented Anthony who brings his passion and knowledge of measurement to the project
Anthony McCanny@anthonymccanny

Today the @pwb_lab and I publish the 2024 Canadian Happiness Report! Confirming the findings of @HappinessRpt, Canadians do feel that the quality of their lives are declining, however they remain very satisfied with these lives (especially before the pandemic)! 🧵 1/10
