I worked with the Biden White House and DOJ to develop a policy on when can federal police shoot at a moving vehicle. DOJ adopted it in 2022, and as far as I know, it hasn't been repealed. Here's what it says: "Firearms may not be discharged solely to disable moving vehicles. Specifically, firearms may not be discharged at a moving vehicle unless: (1) a person in the vehicle is threatening the officer or another person with deadly force by means other than the vehicle; or (2) the vehicle is operated in a manner that threatens to cause death or serious physical injury to the officer or others, and no other objectively reasonable means of defense appear to exist, which includes moving out of the path of the vehicle. Firearms may not be discharged from a moving vehicle except in exigent circumstances. In these situations, an officer must have an articulable reason for this use of deadly force." She gets ordered out of her car. She refuses. She backs up. Then she drives forward—straight into an ICE agent. The agent draws his gun *only* when her vehicle starts moving toward his body. Self-defense. Case closed.

@SarahisCensored The first shot may have been self-defense, but the second two, when he is clearly out of the way of the moving vehicle, make the entire altercation ambiguous to me.

Prior MP here. She backs up. She turns her wheels toward the agent in front and proceeds forward. At this point, the vehicle is a weapon, and opening fire becomes self-defense. She FAFO. I would have done the same.

She was trying to stage an illegal blockade of the road to interfere with ICE agents and then rammed her car into one of them when they attempted to apprehend her. This isn’t even a close call. Entirely justified. She is 100 percent to blame for her own death. The victims are the ICE agents who are continually harassed and assaulted while trying to do their job and uphold the laws of the United States.

@libdunkmedia You are misrepresenting what the video shows. Two things to watch: Watch his hand and watch the front wheel of the car. He doesn't pull out his gun until the wheel of the car starts spinning forward.

Three video angles of the Minneapolis shooting, all slowed down and zoomed in. The Department of Homeland Security says the officer acted in self-defense. Minneapolis mayor Jacob Frey and now Minnesota Governor Tim Walz say they have "seen the video" and are telling people not to believe DHS. The woman who was driving the vehicle is deceased.
