@graceandaplomb1 @JordanSchachtel The effects of Covid was huge & devastating. However, you may be in a good position with AI. Understand what you “do” will not look the way it “did.” Everything will shift including the jobs you staff. Seek to understand your client’s needs. Find solutions.

@JordanSchachtel Yes, I’m using AI tools but if there are no fucking jobs to fill what’s the point? JFC.

People keep asking "what jobs will AI destroy?" Wrong question. Instead, ask what a brilliant 14-year-old in West Virginia can now do that he could never do before. Previously all his relatives went into the mine bc that was the only door open to them. He was largely doomed because of where he was born. A kid growing up in that same holler today can build an AI company from his bedroom. Think about what that actually means for opportunity in America. The Doomers are wrong. These new tools will make the system more meritocratic, more democratized, and more distributed than ever before.

The reason plagiarism scandals are on the rise for legacy media is they are probably using AI which is sourcing other work but they don't realize it
Eric Pistey@shawnpisteySC

Look at this @JackPosobiec another "principled" member of establishment media getting caught plagiarizing. Yikes

@derwos @ProfMJCleveland They can if they’re working nearly a full time job while going to HIGH school, paying for their own cell phone, putting gas & such into their beat-piece car….and then later paying for their own degree at community college while working. How’s that helicoptering?

One of the purest joys in life is making your teenage son homemade pancakes and sausage for "breakfast" when they wake after noon on a Saturday. My heart is full and I am blessed.

@derwos He just finished his classes this week and he worked long hours yesterday between studying and his entrepreneurial gigs and after that still did 40 minutes of his medical treatments by himself while we were sleeping. He handles life just fine.

@shipwreckedcrew Death of a long-time spouse you planned being there forever is a harsh reality that you reached that space in time, yet you’re still young. You’re not ready to die yet. Men have a harder time being alone, but just because your spouse died doesn’t mean you did! Live life,

I'm going to add something to this. I don't know if it applies to Massie or not, it us just observational. I have life-long male friends of mine who, in the 40+ years I've known them, have NEVER been without a significant other. They had girlfriends when I met them, they got married, they got divorced, and they got married again. When learning one was getting divorced in his 50s after 30 years of marriage, I told him "You won't be alone for 4 months." Some guys cannot stand being alone. The idea of being in an empty house alone when your kids are grown is just inconceivable. It is nothing they have ever experienced, and it is completely jarring. Massie was 53 when his wife passed. They had been married 30 years -- he was 23 and she was 21 when they were married. His kids are all married and live away. And suddenly the house is empty around him when it never was before.
Shipwreckedcrew@shipwreckedcrew

The history is now pretty clear -- Massie's first wife had suffered significant chronic health problems for many years, but he death at age 51 from auto-immune related issues was sudden and unexpected. Their children were are adults and married so they were "empty-nesters." But while her death might have been sudden in the way it happened, both knew. BUT, Massie became a very different person in the aftermath of her death. Maybe she was always a moderating influence on his instincts, and without her by his side he has let himself succumb to some of his worse political instincts. His second wife came from the orbit of Rand Paul -- a fellow traveler on libertarian issues. It seems possible that she might be having the opposite effect on him as his first wife. He's just not the same guy.

@WallStreetApes The job market has always been bad! I know of many older than me with degrees who retired from careers outside of their education. Before there was marketing there was plain old sales. Sales takes hustling education can’t replace.

This American has a masters degree and 5 years experience in marketing She’s been applying for jobs but cant get a callback She finally did get a callback from a job that only requires a high school diploma “My rent payment is half of my monthly salary, not including bills, not including any other expenses” If you add in other expenses, plus taxes and health insurance she will likely have no money left Reminder, she has a masters degree….. The job market is only going to get harder because of AI According to data current job seekers sometimes hand to put in over 200 application before finding a job Deport 20 million illegals and jobs will definitely open up, rent prices will definitely drop

@wiztom88 @WallStreetApes Was going to post the same as you…however, it’s probably safe to think her “creativity” is replaced by importance of education. Entrepreneurs are creative & would spend the energy hustling, not acquiring books. She can’t see this as no one telling her what to do.

@WallStreetApes Her best outlet is to start her own marketing company, harness the power of AI. Hustle her ass off to pull a handful of clients and over deliver on everything... she'll make it, but the window to do this is also closing. If your in a similar position, heed this advice

@WallStreetApes I’ve personally seen work come out of Mexico. Go ahead. See what you get. Would you know the difference? Then again, manage a dental practice in the US and see where all the money actually goes.

The price of Dental Work in America is so expensive, many Americans are crossing the border into Mexico to see a dentist This woman needed 2 teeth pulled, a bone graft, and two implants - In San Diego, her dentist is charging $4,400 just to get two teeth pulled, and a bone graft - In Tijuana, $750 for the same procedure - For implants, her dentist in San Diego wants to charge her from $6,500 to $8,000 per implant. She needs 2 - In Tijuana, they are charging Her $990 and $950 for a zirconia crown over the implant So here’s how the math works out If she was to get her two teeth worked on in America is would be about $17,000 If she gets the work done inn Tijuana, it's going to cost her just under $5,000 The choice is simple, she got the work done in Mexico You know what’s crazy, Dental work in Mexico is on average about 70-80% cheaper in Mexico. It’s the same work, the only difference is a couple miles across a border Everyone should be asking themselves, why does it cost 80% more in the United States for dental work We are being robbed blind

@LargeFamDad @OakrootForge Be wary, there’s a few who use it only because they have been taught to or expected to, and in time will heavily revolt. Or, use it as a means to keep their partner in line.

@OakrootForge Excellent additions to watch out for! #2 is big for us. Curiosity or confusion are great opportunities for witnessing, but someone who's already made up their mind about the faith and followers of it is not going to work. #3 is also a good call out. Samson & Delilah!

I've been talking to my 15 yo son about discerning "bad fruit" in teenage girls. So far we've talked about: - gossiping - foul mouth - overly flirty - self-centered - bad music choices - prideful / boasting - immodest clothing - posing seductively - can't take correction - looking down on others - history of many boyfriends - dissing marriage/having kids What else are we missing?

@JackPosobiec It’s been this way for 40+ years, many went into jobs not aligned with degree, but has been worse since everyone focuses on education, not the trades. Manufacturing can’t find good apprentices yet pay very well.

Are you blind?? She doesn't want to be left alone!!!!! She could be with her kids, enjoying her 300-400 million dollars. But she's all over the Internet, TV, the world.
