I was in the courtroom for Johnny Somali’s verdict. The second he walked in, his eyes were completely dead and lifeless. Zero trolling, zero antics toward the press and creators. He wouldn’t even look at us. He knew he was screwed. And he was so desperate that he lied about still being an ASU student (he already graduated) and tried to say that he missed his family lol. Sad. Hope harassing Koreans and being a public nuisance was worth the hard labor and prison time. But I hope that the prosecutor appeals because 6 months is not enough. WE WANT THE MAXIMUM SENTENCE! @NYCMayor Those are called compliance strikes. Police don’t say “awe shucks, I guess I’ll leave” when a suspect says they don’t want to be arrested. If I actively resist arrest like this guy did, I’m fully expecting my ass to get beat.

The violence used by NYPD officers in this video is extremely disturbing and unacceptable. Officers should never treat a person this way. The NYPD is conducting a full investigation into this incident.
