There has been a long standing agreement with @MCCCityCentre for narrow yellow lines in Castlefield. The contractors don’t always comply though!

Castlefield & more shoddy work. So 'repair' low fence around stairs being repainted (v slowly) after first useless job & block access to stairs. Use untreated wood banged in & not previous elegant mortise & tenon. Who did this? @KAMetrolink @tfgm @ManCityCouncil @OurCastlefield

@UM_UCU Received my original and requested replacement yesterday (with weeks of other mail) consequently I couldn’t make a vote that could be counted….

Many of our members didn't receive their ballots in time due to postal delays in Manchester. Pic below is from someone receiving ballot and two replacements (and 2 weeks mail) today. So if there is a way to legally challenge this result and avoid having to reballot, we will.

Some fantastic results in the USS ballots released tonight. At Manchester we had a strong vote: 77.7% for strike action, 89.6% for ASOS but missed the 50% needed by ... 1 vote! So we will support the branches leading the action for now and reballot. But...

I'm looking for a western town with a pulse. A river, bookstores, good bars, you can walk around. Far enough from anywhere else to have its own identify & economy. Tolerable weather in August. If there's sagebrush around, it counts as desert.
