“Agents will generate workflows dynamically. Applications will get thinner. And the systems that manage memory, state, coordination, and history will become more important than ever. Which is why I think databases are moving back to the center of software architecture. Not as storage. As runtime.”

@nikesharora well said @nikesharora palo alto has the context, LLM without context is chatbot, they indeed drive the reasoning but context drive the outcomes. Specifically large enterprises are fragmented wrt teams, tools, processes, its the companies like @PaloAltoNtwks will drive value !!

The false positive rate for LLMs is about 30%, so as of now no model can validate those and to deploy models to assess threats they need to be merged into the inline sensors - they have taken a lifetime to deploy, endpoints, agents (old world), browsers, firewalls on prem and cloud, models can't enforce, nor write enterprise policy which is customer specific.

Real question: How does Palo Alto Networks benefit from AI? Is Palo Alto Networks not a thin wrapper over Mythos? And if it is, why will its long term dividends be anything other than the cost of tokens?

Dario is wrong. He knows absolutely nothing about the effects of technological revolutions on the labor market. Don't listen to him, Sam, Yoshua, Geoff, or me on this topic. Listen to economists who have spent their career studying this, like @Ph_Aghion , @erikbryn , @DAcemogluMIT , @amcafee , @davidautor

For 20 years, the Naganadi River lay dry. Then 40,000 women stepped forward and changed the story. Through the Art of Living River Rejuvenation Project, they revived water, farms, and hope in Tamil Nadu. This Women’s Day, we celebrate the power of women who transform the earth!

@piyushcom Also, the point is we don't have to criticize the retail tech or fintech to ask for innovation in more strategic sector. India needs lots in every type of entrepreneurship.

Good to see real (and deserving) pushback even from supporters of the government. Modi government continues to value motormouths over competence.
Rajeev Mantri@RMantri

One of the worst low blow remarks in this speech was to derisively dismiss consumer oriented companies as “dukaandaari”. What does the Hon. Minister even mean by this statement? Is he aware that the giant American and Chinese tech companies he might admire so much are built on the back of small businesses and “dukaandaars” who are advertisers and merchants on these platforms? India needs more and more “dukaandaar” entrepreneurs for sure, because such small and medium businesses are the ones who are enterprise customers. What we are actually doing to our “dukaandaar” businesses (as Hon. Minister calls them) is of course strangle them at every possible turn x.com/rmantri/status… Such credit starved, hyper over regulated and strangulated small enterprises are the ones who are supposed to be customers of deep tech / enterprise focused startups. What regulatory changes were brought to ease credit to this hugely deprived segment? What is the status of implementation of labour laws? Where is the promised Deregulation Commission? Where is Jan Vishwas Bill 2.0? What did Commerce Ministry do to cut the enormous red tape in exports and imports? Stop belittling and trashing Indian founders and entrepreneurs, please go and do you own job properly. @PiyushGoyalOffc

Rep. Suhas Subramanyam (VA-10)
Yesterday, I was sworn in on the Bhagavad Gita as the first Indian American and South Asian Congressman from Virginia. My mother, who arrived at Dulles from India, might not have imagined this, but it's the promise of America. Honored to represent VA-10. 🇺🇸
