Appeal by 108 Advocates from Across Bharat for Revocation of Padma Shri Award Conferred on Ekta Kapoor On behalf of 108 advocates across Bharat, we appeal to the Hon'ble President of India (@rashtrapatibhvn) to revoke the Padma Shri award conferred on @EktaaRKapoor. The Padma Shri is a prestigious honour, but Kapoor’s deliberate attempts to normalize pornographic content and degrade moral values, especially through her web series, have tarnished the sanctity of Indian relationships and disrespected cultural traditions. Such content has had a profound negative impact on young minds and society. The appeal letter has been sent via email and physically to the office of the President. A heartfelt thank you to all the advocates who supported and endorsed this cause. In this Yajna to purify Bharat from cultural pollution, we draw inspiration from Shri Uday Mahurkar Ji (@UdayMahurkar), founder of @scsb_f, who is spearheading the movement against perverted content that threatens Bharat’s dream of becoming Vishwaguru.
