@foxnewspolitics What do you mean by "courting" them? Meeting with them just makes sense. They're still being taxed, right?

Socialist NYC Mayor Mamdani now courts the same Wall Street billionaires he spent months attacking — meeting with JPMorgan's Dimon and Goldman's Solomon after pushing higher taxes on corporations and wealthy New Yorkers. Critics call it a growing contradiction at the center of his economic agenda in the world's largest finance hub. The mayor built his brand on 'tax the rich' rhetoric, then pivoted to reassure the very people funding the city's budget. Heritage Foundation analyst: 'Pitching class warfare and then pivoting to court Wall Street executives risks appearing politically performative.'

@TracieMae @reachjulieroys My point is that he wasn't looking for a *woman* his own age, or of any age, because he's gay. Preying on children is its own subject. Healthy, safe adults want a *partner* their own age.

Despite claims that the US is the world’s oldest democracy, we’ve only been anything close to a representative democracy since the Voting Rights Act of 1965. That’s just over 60 years. Whole time, conservatives been mad about it. “Leaders of the free world” is propaganda.

@pjspartner @PastorTrey05 Of course a square is a parallelogram. But would you pay a carpenter that built skewed cabinets and said “ but they’re still a parallelogram”? Context is everything and being semantically correct in a broad sense can still mean you’re factually wrong on the specifics.

Men are not providers, they just realized early that provision is a tool for control hence they are holding onto it for power. Ask a man why a woman should submit to him and the first thing you hear is “I am the provider” Ask a man why his wife needs his permission before leaving the house and he reminds you he is a provider. Ask a man why he believes house chores are beneath him and he will remind you he provides. Ask a man why be believes he can cheat but his wife shouldn’t cheat on him and he will tell you he provides. Provision is just a tool for control, that’s why they complain about financially stable women not being submissive, it’s simply them not being able to use provision to subjugate these women.

@Paul_hero147 @blackgold800 @TDeisine Umm...*no one* fought and died in numbers to end slavery 🤨, but the question was, if every man's natural role is as a protector of women, what does that look like for you, specifically? What do you do each day to protect women?

@ThomasWillett9 Well it is a comedy show and she was getting super triggered and started crying after he wailed at her, it's interesting to me how these pro feminism men always treat women as retarded helpless children who should be given all authority but none of the accountability

@pjspartner @PastorTrey05 The sophomoric answer you’re looking for is “a republic is a form of democracy”. But “a form of” is not the same as “is”. Shooting someone stealing a loaf of bread is a “form of” justice but few would call it justice. Context matters. Look at the post I responded to…

@sk_constantine No one has "the final say." You decide together on a course of action. People literally do this all the time.

Because the process of consensus requires agreement. What if one doesnt agree with the other? Who has the final say?
Lisa@pjspartner

@sk_constantine @TheoManBabies That's blatantly untrue, and yet so commonly repeated. Why do you seem so unaware of the process of consensus? Haven't you ever actually done anything *together* with someone before? What kind of messed up relationships have you people had??

@TheoManBabies As a husband i have authority and self-sacrificial leadership. We both submit to God. But there is clear hierarchy. Equal authority doesnt exist. The moment the couple disagree about something, someone has to submit for the sake of the marriage.

But he will NOT, EVER, set a toe in his own kitchen because, patriarchy. (Literally). It’s not complicated, only because you’ve taught her that if she says one single word against you she won’t go to heaven. This is all true. He’s never ever set a toe in their kitchen, even with 7-8 or whatever number of kid they’re on. Brian is a Patriarchal Bully.

@Susers281526 @philvischer @megbasham So, to be clear--you're alleging that people *living in luxury* are a) purchasing their own groceries b) from the foods allowed on SNAP? Or is your point that receiving SNAP benefits, which average less than $200 each month, is *making it possible* for people to live in luxury?

@philvischer @megbasham Phil - Clean up on aisle 9 first - too many grifters stealing aid from those who truly need it. “Thousands on food stamps drive luxury vehicles … software linking car registration data to welfare rolls to automatically flag these kinds of unimaginable ‘discrepancies.”

@philvischer @megbasham Maybe you should donate your salary insecurity of taxpayers paying for it. Also the amount of fraud and waste is enough reason to cut it off. The supposed Aid wouldn’t even make it into the right hands. Do some research and dont listen to the left wing headlines

lol it’s not a tool, your insecure biased mentality tells you it’s a tool to control…. A man’s main purpose is to protect and lead…provision is an added advantage…not every man is financially capable “provide” but they sure can protect you and lead. You hate the very existence of Men, you spend every waking day thinking of means to diminish Men and their purpose, you hate the fact that you can’t have a normal life with a Man cos your upbringing is messed up and has shaped your mindset towards Men. It’s definitely the black ladies saying all this, slavery needs to reset yall brains back to default mode.

@PastorTrey05 It was a segregation-era ruling. Today, we have so little racism the SPLC was funding it to keep it alive. The effect today is to isolate the districts, and also to guarantee votes go to one party. Ben Carson: x.com/RealBenCarson/…
Ben & Candy Carson@RealBenCarson

MAJOR VICTORY for equal protection under the Constitution today. States cannot sort Americans into districts primarily by race. This should not be complicated: Americans should be treated as individuals, not grouped by the color of their skin.

classic pastoral advice on the internet is "just ask one of those helpful older women to do it!" Which is about as realistic as "just tell your fairy godmother to do it" because again, this woman does not exist in real life. I've always thought that the best explanation for
