Built massive positions in $DPZ and $STZ that were sold at the current bottom for a $1 Billion loss.
Likely other names that were sold for big losses as well. This company is a disaster. $BRK

I wouldn’t be concerned with this at all. Bill Gates is a terrible capital allocator.
He owned 45% of $MSFT at IPO, while Ballmer owned 7-8%.
Today, he owns less than 1% while Ballmer owns 4.5%, making Ballmer materially richer than him.

Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation sold 100% of their Microsoft $MSFT position… The guy who created Microsoft just had his foundation dump the entire stake, 7.6M shares. Either he thinks Microsoft is over or he completely hates valuations in tech right now 😂

I don’t understand what Berkshire is doing here
They sold their entire position in $UNH, $DPZ, $AMZN and $POOL to buy Google, Macys and Delta
I thought Berkshire buys for the long term, I feel like they just started buying $DPZ and $POOL
What changed? This feels weird to me

@DeepIceValue Disagree with airlines n Macy bet. Should keep Visa and Master and instead of buying lennar NVR would have been better. Agree with the rest n the focused portfolio is absolutely the way to go🙏😅

They keep buying $GOOG and selling everything else, from $DPZ, $POOL, $UNH, $CVX anf $BAC.. 😱

🚨Update: President Trump did NOT eat any Chinese made food during his visit. The White House took its own chefs and its own food for President Trump to eat.
It’s far too dangerous to eat Chinese made food due to probability of poisoning and nano-tech which China might use against Trump and the US!

The non-consensus view, which I would possibly underwrite here, is that if I were a Berkshire shareholder, I‘d be inclined to sell my shares Monday morning.

Wow, wow, wow! Greg Abel with a massive ~$10B Google purchase in Q1. Feels like a new era of capital allocation for Berkshire. I can’t say I‘m a big fan of the move, even though it‘s working out wonderfully so far, and certainly beats just sitting on hundreds of billion in cash forever.
