The E. Jean Carroll case against President Trump is one of the strangest civil cases in American history. The foundational problem is this: Carroll could not identify when the alleged incident occurred — not even the year with any precision. That should have killed the case as dead as a skunk on the road right there. Without a temporal anchor, no defendant — regardless of guilt or innocence — can mount an alibi defense. Trump, who has maintained detailed calendars and staff records for decades, was denied the most basic tool of self-defense: the ability to establish where he was. That is not a technicality. It is a due process violation at the constitutional level. Then Carroll produced the one piece of physical evidence she claimed corroborated her account — the dress she wore during the alleged incident. It was subsequently established that the dress was designed after the incident could have occurred. The sole corroborating evidence falsified her timeline. The case proceeded anyway. The resulting verdict was then weaponized in a defamation suit — where Trump was held liable for denying the allegation, while being procedurally barred from defending against it, because it was already "proven" in another court, regardless how flawed the procedure was. He was punished, in effect, for asserting his own innocence. Compounding everything: coordinated professional and physical threats so thoroughly intimidated the legal community that attorneys refused these cases regardless of available fees. When you systematically destroy a defendant's ability to retain counsel of choice, you forfeit the right to a legitimate verdict. An allegation is not evidence. Process without substance is not law. And a verdict produced under these conditions carries no legitimate authority — whatever its formal status. Not only is it the right move to investigate Carroll, but every other person involved as well. Trump is owed serious damages here, and there may be a few people who belong in prison for their roles in the case.

What @ChicagosMayor doesn't admit World Business Chicago relies on government grants for 45 percent of its total revenue. Government grants is a neutral term for tax dollars. In other words, we are paying for Stacy Davis Gates and @the12thward to accompany Johnson to Rome.

Hello @AOC, while you smiled in a hijab at a New York event, I was in Federal Court facing the 4th hitman hired by the Islamic Republic to assassinate me, for campaigning for Iranian women to have the same freedom you performed for a photo op. Will you come to court with me in August when I face the 5th hitman? Or does solidarity only work when it doesn't offend the Islamic regime? You wore hijab voluntarily in New York. Women are killed in Iran for taking it off. You are the very woman who, at every opportunity, protests against violence against women, decries gender segregation, and champions "inclusion." Yet here you stand, smiling and wearing a hijab, at an event in New York, in the heart of the West, where men and women are strictly separated. To me and millions of Iranian women, this does not look like a choice. It is no longer "My body, my choice," but rather "My body for votes." They who claim to fight for women's self-determination in the name of feminism voluntarily embrace an ideology that mandates our women cover their hair simply because they are women. They enjoy the prosperity, freedom, and privileges of the Western world, where they may live as autonomous individuals , yet they simultaneously accept that other women should not be afforded the same rights. #LetUsTalk

Column's up: Marxist mayor Zohran Mamdani’s promise to seize the properties of landlords he deems unworthy should send a chill down the spine of every American. Wherever in history his Marxist prescriptions have been applied, misery and tyranny follow — from Stalin to Mao to Pol Pot, 100 million deaths were caused by communist regimes in the 20th century alone. The Trump administration’s moves to dismantle leftist boondoggles such as USAID, indict the Southern Poverty Law Center and investigate CCP-linked mega-donors like Neville Roy Singham represent an existential threat to the funding networks that sustain the militant left’s activist infrastructure. So Mamdani’s solution is to allocate potentially hundreds of billions of dollars of New York real estate to allied nonprofits to make them financially self-sufficient, no matter who’s in the White House. nypost.com/2026/05/27/opi…

More never before seen footage is coming out from Iran. This was in Mashhad on the 8th of January, the moment regime thugs began firing on the unarmed crowd. Notice how the "Iran expert" class tried to pretend like these atrocities never happened.

Gavin is about to take EVEN MORE unconstitutional actions JUST to shield his own foreign fraudsters. The legislation gives more "privacy" to immigration service providers, lets some people keep addresses SECRET so no one can investigate, BANS recording info "to harass or harm" [that term will be weaponized] @nickshirleyy has TERRIFIED the Fraud Industrial Complex! 🚨BREAKING🚨 the “Stop Nick Shirley” bill just passed through the CA Assembly. Instead of fixing the fraud and abuse being exposed, Sacramento Democrats would rather go after the people shining a light on it. Transparency matters. Accountability matters. Free speech matters. AB 2624 now heads to the Senate. Call your State Senator and tell them to vote NO on AB 2624.

Does this mean, as a "Biblical Christian" that you have the ability to bind and loose both in heaven and earth, or did that die with Peter and the Apostles? Where/what is the church that you go to (if you do) as referenced in Matthew 18:17? Did the bible write itself? Don't mean to come across as snarky, just trying to understand the rationale, as there are a lot of verses that suggest something outside of scripture alone ~ if I understand your definition of a "Biblical Christian" correctly.

I'm not orthodox, protestant, or catholic. I'm simply a Biblical Christian, I believe everything that's written in the Bible. I follow the Way. Jesus is the Way. And frankly at this point in time being called a heretic by any of them is a compliment.

Tbh, I'm trying to reconcile that about angels, and the Gospel narratives regarding the resurrection, the Acts of the Apostles (1:10-11), Hebrews 13:2, and Genesis 19:1-2, where it *appears* that take on some sort of human form. I have no clue what the authors' intent was, or meaning. It's about as clear as mud.🤷‍♂️

Thomas Aquinas, the Angelic Doctor, did not view angels as mere folklore, but as crucial metaphysical realities. Most people picture angels as winged figures in paintings. Aquinas saw something far stranger and more demanding. For him, an angel is not a spirit floating inside a body it chose to leave behind. An angel is pure intellect. No matter. No potentiality derived from matter. No form individuated by a body. This is where the metaphysics gets sharp. In the Summa Theologiae, Aquinas argues that because angels are not composed of matter and form the way humans are, each angel is its own species. Not a member of a class. The entire class. Gabriel is not one of many Gabriels. There is only one of whatever Gabriel is. Their knowledge follows the same logic. Humans abstract concepts from sensory experience, building understanding piece by piece. Angels receive infused species, direct intellectual illumination. They do not reason toward conclusions the way we do. They see. This is not poetry. It is rigorous ontology. And here is why it matters beyond theology: if Aquinas is right, then intellect is not reducible to brain tissue. Non-corporeal, thinking substances are not only possible, they are actual. The materialist assumption that mind requires matter collapses on contact with angelology done properly. Modern Catholics have largely abandoned this. We kept the Christmas cards and lost the philosophy. The Angelic Doctor did not receive that name as decoration. He lived up to every implication of it. What part of this metaphysical picture do you find hardest to accept?

Ask yourself why a Twitch streamer was taking 40 Americans on a convoy to Communist Cuba. Ask yourself why Code Pink, a radical feminist group, was organizing it. Ask yourself where the money came from. The Treasury Department is asking those same questions. And the answers? Potentially tied to the Chinese Communist Party. Hasan Piker spent YEARS telling you America was the villain while torturing his dog on Twitch. The real villain? Hint: it’s usually the guy electroshocking his dog while taking Communist kickbacks.

How about telling the whole truth, Mr. Johnson? Last Memorial Day weekend, Chicago saw 24 people shot and 3 homicides. This year, 37 people were shot during the same time period. That's a 54% increase in shootings compared to last year. Yes, 3 fewer people died from gunshot wounds this year, and thank G-d for that. That outcome more to do with poor aim and excellent trauma care than with any reduction in violent crime. Your CVI programs and other policies didn't reduce violence. The number of people shot went UP, not down. Crime is a major problem in Chicago no matter how the statistics are spun. You are right about one thing, Mr. Johnson: there is still more work to be done. More arrests. More prosecutions. More repeat offenders kept off the streets. And a mayor who prioritizes public safety over political ideology.

Republicans need to stop capitalizing on pain and fear to distract from their failing economy and the consequences of their forever wars. People want real solutions that make their lives safer and more affordable. Here in Chicago, we’re focused on investing in our youth and strengthening our communities. While there is still more work to do, we are encouraged by a Memorial Day weekend that saw zero homicides. We are grateful to the first responders, CVI workers, and our community leaders whose work continues to help make our neighborhoods safer.
