@modrail Out of curiosity what are the big differences between the E2s in BR, Southern, and LBSC conditions?
English

With the website launch, all 4 of my E2s, yes I made two more, are now available as files AND physical prints!
go check out lazyterrierandmodrail.com for more details
LBSC variants to follow...

@reddestroyer05 @01Salty1 Big mystery location never marked on any map—the loop!
English

@01Salty1 That’s all I can think of for now, but I’m sure there’s plenty of other little details I missed. The takeaway from all this is THE LORE is not some immutable scripture but a fun creative exercise by one dude who changed his mind about a lot of shit and always had new ideas.

Fuck it, thread about changes to the Sodor map through the years!
1- The Hawin Russagh didn’t exist until the 1987 map. Before that, the “Cows” bridge was the one over the Hawin Croka. I’m guessing this was changed cause the text says the bridge is on a long straight stretch-

@Streakofscarlet The atttempts to reconcile them & place every illustration/shot is what burns shit into your brain that no one should know off the top of their head
English

@reddestroyer05 The loop line would also count in this category, no?
English

@Tapped549080 Where is that red Godred from? I can’t seem to find any source that names the magazine it was included in
English

Artifacts from the Peel Godred Preservation Society Archives: “Odd Sight near Carnforth [Junction], Oct. 8 1915”

Cancelling Harry Potter because of Rowling but remaking/doing spin offs of Narnia and LOTR despite Lewis and Tolkien being two of the most prominent Christian figures of the last century who undoubtedly share Rowling’s views she’s been cancelled for. Make it make sense.

@shunter_86 Oliver, since his was malicious / intentional rather than accidental. Plus, I could see S. C. Ruffy guilting Oliver over the fact that other private wagons (depending on the time period) were being withdrawn
English

@GeoffreyS94 What I ended up going with for original locomotives was the Ramsbottom tanks used at Crewe Works, Ebbw Vale, etc as well as the 0-4-0s built by John Smith & Co in Coven!

#TTTE #ThomasandFriends #ThomastheTankEngine #RWS #TheRailwaySeries I'm looking for basis for the Arlesdale Tramway Engines that were built before 1866, can anyone find any Please. ttte.fandom.com/wiki/Arlesdale…

English

@SirWelcome2 I’m not familiar with these electrics but they’re gorgeous! What classes are they?
English

@SleeperAgent01 Barrow Haematite had a box tank? I never knew!
I’ve always wanted to know more about their locomotives but I’ve never been able to find a complete roster

@askhamhall1772 @Nictrain123 Neat! Out of curiosity, does that book have any info on the engines at the Barrow Hematite Steel engines?
English

@SleeperAgent01 I know this is only semi related, but where do you find these Lowca adverts / diagrams? I’ve been meaning to find more myself but I’ve always had minimal luck
English

@LittleEnginePr1 I’d love to know where you’re finding these bullied designs, they’re very neat!
English

@ModelsSodor Any way that fans in the US will get a physical release?

UK friends, the HARDBACK of Sodor Reading Between the Lines is now available to Preorder from Waterstones. Previously it was just the paperback version.
English

@ModelsSodor I like it, but I feel like the Ballast Plant should be more accessible from the main line coming west—after all, that’s where the trains of unprocessed rock would be coming from!
English

@Nictrain123 Has anyone put together a thread of the lore from all 5 Awdry events?
